  1. I would say that's impressive, but you've had your car since very low miles right? I honestly don't trust the EJ25x motors for reliability, for me a reliable quick daily is better then a fast daily that's a #YNASB.

I have 120k miles already on the clock, have some oil consumption, though I think it's from a leaking turbo line (just don't have the time to pull the turbo to replace it). So I'm just driving it as is for now, at least until I replace the clutch with a single mass flywheel (or sell the car and get a Spec B ;)).

Holding off on the selling until I see how the legacy does with car seats. If it's horrible as a baby carrying machine, I might need to get a newer bigger Legacy....

I got it with 53k miles on it and have been driving it like I stole it lol and it now has 98k. I use it for work which I should have learned my lesson driving my fully built sti for work and blowing that engine after 60k miles but I have an addiction to subarus now and cant let go  upgrading to a spec b isnt gonna change your car seat issue I dont think haha

  2. Dang haha it's currently my daily. But I don't have a garage yet. The smell is that over whelming?

I had catless on my wrx and my sti, and I never even noticed the smell. Unless its different on the legacy, I dont really understand where people smell it that much. But to each their own I guess! Plus catless is much much cheaper if you have an accessport you dont have to worry about cels or anything here in maryland emission wise. Other states are a bit more strict about it though

Edit also your tune might have something to do with the smell.. if its a rich tune, then you may smell it more than a not so rich tune.

  3. Yes please talk about issues lol I'm debating on which downpipe to buy. Catted or catless. I wanna be cheap lol especially since I just ordered a process west TMIC.

Catless is the way to go in my opinion... on the other hand you should send that process west intercooler back and pick up a grimmspeed one... much much nicer if you ask me!

  4. 110K on 2007 Legacy GT Limited 5EAT. I've owned it for about 2 months now (bought with 107K on the odo). Car is immaculate. Only issue thus far is clunking noise over low speed bumps from rear driver side suspension.

Otherwise, no issues thus far. Running Cobb AP stage 1 (Brentuned) and the BP TMIC kit is going on this Saturday.

I am so impressed with the members of this forum. People have been so polite, nice and helpful. It truly is a breath of fresh air.

Saving up for a DP to go stage 2 though I'm nervous as I hear a lot of people saying it's not worth the hassle reliability wise.

But I did purchase a 4yr/46K mile extended service plan for my vehicle and I have a mod friendly mechanic and dealer so I feel pretty confident going forward.

I am running a downpipe with a stage 2 etune from brentuning and i couldnt be happier with the car/tune. You are in good hands with Bren tuning your car trust me mine runs great
