  1. FYI - last time I checked the cusco front was on backorder. May be a different story now.

Here's where I got mine, but he had it shipped directly to me from Japan, so it took 6 weeks to arrive. eBay

Rally sport direct. In stock. 25 bucks off. And ten minutes from my house. :)

Jk. The front is a different part number. But it is also for the 08 wrx so I'm guessing it's gonna fit....

Or was the other not for the 08 Rex up front...?

  2. has anyone tried out the cusco front strut tower bar for our car?????

i found the part numbers and it seems that the front also matches with the 08 wrx.

    check it.

how do these compare with the gt spec ones

only problem is the rear sits so high!!!

    rear fitment is already confirmed….

anyone have a front fitment confirmation?

the gt spec front one seems to start higher and have less bend in the bar where the cusco seems to sit more flush and wrap more.

  3. Funny. I checked my email today and there was one from raptor asking if I want to order headers for their next build cycle.

I think Italian got the better offer.

Or, he made them an offer they couldn't refuse.

Ask then if you could also be one of the test fitters for them and that you know their secrets.. Blackmail should work right?

  4. ncfree/ Fredrik - on the topic of alignments, I recently had my done again just in time for Spring and wanted to ask you for some advice.

    Toe all Around 0.00

    Front Camber L/R -1.4

    Rear Camber L/R -1.8

Given that I'm on the RCE Blacks / Bilstein combo with 17mm spacers, I prefer a bit of negative camber (as per Myles and a few guys on here), but would you recommend I do something about the rear camber or safe to run like this?

Honestly I thing your camber is great as is.

I'm sitting about -1.4 front and -1.9-2.0 rear and have not Seen any poor tire wear with 6k miles on the set. I even went into my guy and had him check all my suspension and the wear to make sure that nothing was wrong or causing problems or that my endlinks were going out as I'm on stock endlinks with a 22 (23) rsb whiteline and 26 oem front. He said everything looks great. When I put my springs in I was sitting at -1.3 and -1.7. After it settled significantly and had it realigned. My guy said that it's fine, and even better that way, as long as there's no funny wear and there isn't. I love it cuz it looks good and bites in the corners as those outside tires sit flat as I go around the corners hard. Especially up and down the canyons. Don't fret it. The only other thing I thought about doing is adjusting the toe a bit to reduce the under steer a tiny bit more but we decided it wasn't worth it for the added tire wear it causes on a dd.

Summary, check the tire wear. If it's good, then just enjoy the extra grip you'll be getting on the corners. 👌

Should I be concerned with the camber on the right front and right rear? The guy who was doing the alignment talked to me before he took the car off the alignment machine and said he couldn't get it any better than that.

Also, could someone please share with me what I would have to buy in order to get a camber adjustment for the rear?

That's gonna start to give you some mid match tire wear.
