  1. Finally installed this yesterday. Another one of my stash of parts finally installed. Gotta say tho, it doesn't seem to make as big of a difference on the GT as it did on the Fozz. In fact it was barely noticeable.

And this damn thing came in today after 3 weeks of waiting for the black kit.

Might take you at your word and not get the steering dampener

Advice on the rear diff. You might need an impact wrench on the bottom side bolts, and the top two rear bolts are really cramped. I couldn't fit a short socket on the breaker bar between the spare tire buldge and nut to loosen. A ratcheting, pivoting box end wrench will be a life saver.

Bought my 2010 LGT 5 years ago, but didn't get the upgrade bug till now. I recently retired my stage 3 2003 PSM WRX Wagon and needed to tinker.

Engine: Milkjug delete, K&N drop in, Cobb AP3 stage 1 OTS, Nameless Performance 5" muffler ABE

    Perrin brass shifter bushing

    Custco Struts

    Eibach ProKit

    Goodridge SS brakelines

    Centric Blanks with Posiquiets

  3. Installed my hawk hps pads, bled the brakes, changed the oil, and found the rear shock was loose from the top bolts...idk if the spacer settled a little or what. Unfortunately I didn't get to bed the pads yet. Hopefully tomorrow.

Fun fact: dried, baked, and decayed lizards are hard to identify when they have been trapped behind brake pads for who knows how long, lol.

Also started working on my diy grille. I'm not 100% how it's gonna work out just yet, but if it looks good I have enough material to do the lower opening as well.

The grill pattern looks spot on. Just gotta figure out how your gonna actually keep it on huh?

    Back on topic,

I installed my Prothane rear diff bushing inserts. PITA to put on, the back bolts dont have much clearance for a socket, and the bottom bracket needed to be impacted off. To get the impact wrench to line up, you have to unbolt the exhaust and take off the hanger on the y pipe...

I also did the milk jug delete. The hardest part was trying to take the jug off itself... FML.

  4. sweet GT Andrew. That was my initial color preference if it was available when I got mine in 2013

Thanks. I wasn't actually in the market for an LGT, it just happened to be available and cheap. I was looking at a white 2011 WRX at the time.

I'm glad I got this, but for practicality's sake I should have got a 3.6R OB, as a family man now... The wife isn't mad at me yet about the upgrades, so I'm gonna keep going. I think she's more annoyed at my camera hobby.xsdha
