Are these the OE window thingies?

Don't worry, the kid will be more fun.

It is. I was using the MPOW magnet vent mount up till today. The COBB one was just too bulky for my taste.
Hope it holds well under heat

Oh man, that light bar. I want, but with Houston's lights, I don't need it...
Also, I did this bc I'm a 16 yr old ricer

I was recently made aware of this SUBARU Legacy GTK - YouTube

I really wished The States had this...

Finally installed this yesterday. Another one of my stash of parts finally installed. Gotta say tho, it doesn't seem to make as big of a difference on the GT as it did on the Fozz. In fact it was barely noticeable.
And this damn thing came in today after 3 weeks of waiting for the black kit.
Might take you at your word and not get the steering dampener
Advice on the rear diff. You might need an impact wrench on the bottom side bolts, and the top two rear bolts are really cramped. I couldn't fit a short socket on the breaker bar between the spare tire buldge and nut to loosen. A ratcheting, pivoting box end wrench will be a life saver.

Installed my hawk hps pads, bled the brakes, changed the oil, and found the rear shock was loose from the top bolts...idk if the spacer settled a little or what. Unfortunately I didn't get to bed the pads yet. Hopefully tomorrow.
Fun fact: dried, baked, and decayed lizards are hard to identify when they have been trapped behind brake pads for who knows how long, lol.
Also started working on my diy grille. I'm not 100% how it's gonna work out just yet, but if it looks good I have enough material to do the lower opening as well.

The grill pattern looks spot on. Just gotta figure out how your gonna actually keep it on huh?
Back on topic,
I installed my Prothane rear diff bushing inserts. PITA to put on, the back bolts dont have much clearance for a socket, and the bottom bracket needed to be impacted off. To get the impact wrench to line up, you have to unbolt the exhaust and take off the hanger on the y pipe...
I also did the milk jug delete. The hardest part was trying to take the jug off itself... FML.

This came in today. Will attempt to install later.

To my knowledge no one has installed these 1st in North America. I can only assume that since Cusco is in Asia, some JDM owners are running them. I don't see why they wouldn't work with the other USDM suspension components.
I'll let y'all know if I end up getting them when my shocks go out.
-
Nope. BM/BR specific fitment. There's a thread around here somwhere from the last few months. Part number 687 65T FR.
Pretty reasonably priced too. https://www.vividracing.com/cusco-touring-shock-absorber-set-subaru-legacy-wagon-0914-p-151386899.html
So do we know that they're a direct fit with usdm springs and tophats?

Can't just tell the car to bite the pillow, I'm going in dry?

I believe he has the GFB fully adjustable version
I couldn't justify the woosh for the extra 120

After much reading, I bought the Go Fast Bits Mach 2 t9133. Hopefully the install isnt too bad.

Unless I can go out and physically pick up a part (which I can if it's a Perrin part, I suppose), I'd have difficulties sneaking in part orders since my wife stays at home with the offspring and would find any delivery before I do.
Iim a stay at home dad, and mom is just pays the bills. I got lucky.
I have always wanted one of thoseI got it off ebay for 55 shipped. Real Cheap.
-
I was always, stock or stock looking, plus some fast. Got the red 6spd knob and Cobb AP3, I got that going for myself.
-
sweet GT Andrew. That was my initial color preference if it was available when I got mine in 2013
Thanks. I wasn't actually in the market for an LGT, it just happened to be available and cheap. I was looking at a white 2011 WRX at the time.
I'm glad I got this, but for practicality's sake I should have got a 3.6R OB, as a family man now... The wife isn't mad at me yet about the upgrades, so I'm gonna keep going. I think she's more annoyed at my camera hobby.xsdha

I got it like 5 years ago. I recently got rid of a AWDtuning tuned sti parts 03 wrx wagon. I needed something to play with so I started working on the LGT. I have a 15 sti RSB and Nameless Performance 5" muffler axleback on the way.

DYI Bucket seat mod, lumbar quick link fix, bloody fingers. First time I did my own oil change because i have garage access.
What did you buy for your 5th gen today? - V3
