  1. LOL, that's exactly the same thing with me. Only about 25% of Legacy GT drivers I see seem like they might as well be driving a Taurus, so when I wave I usually get looked at like I'm from Mars. I get a much better wave-back percentage from WRXs, and of course anything with an STi badge on it. I just came back from there literally about 20 minutes ago. I picked up a set of silver Rota Gravels, tires, and a set of spline drive lugs. I also visited the guys at Speed Element and ordered a set of springs - I should have everything installed by some time mid next week.
  2. Yep, that was me! I'm off to Wheeldude this afternoon to pick up some rims, and I was browsing the wheels/tires forum when I by random chance happened to see that picture of your car. I recognized the rims right away.
  3. '08 Spec B sedan in San Jose this morning, on Trimble turning left onto 1st Street. I'll hazard a guess that it was wpmarky - looked like exactly the same car.
  4. That car parks at a business right near my house every day. Not sure what the plate means either.
  5. That's not me, but since you're so close to where I live I had to reply. I'm over on Main near Benton. Lots of Legacys in Santa Clara... Cool.
  6. Spotted a silver GT wagon headed northbound on 17 going over the hill from Scott's Valley / Santa Cruz. It was this past Friday at around 3:30pm I think.
  7. Spotted a white GT sedan on Benton near Lafayette in Santa Clara yesterday afternoon. I've actually seen this car in the area several times before... Someone must live and/or work nearby.
  8. Spotted a regal blue 2005 LGT wagon northbound on El Camino in Santa Clara crossing Lincoln at about 3pm this afternoon. Nice ride - same as mine!
  9. I spotted an ABP Legacy GT wagon northbound on 101 in San Jose this morning. It was about 8:45am, and it was near the San Tomas exit.
  10. I've got a double sighting. First one was on Friday the 4th. White LGT sedan parked off of Tasman in Santa Clara. Somebody around here works at SVB... Second sighting was on my way back from Tahoe earlier today. Black LGT sedan with wing headed northbound on highway 5 in the Sacramento area, just south of the highway 50 interchange.
  11. In Santa Clara, I saw a 2005 silver LGT sedan heading south on Fremont Street, crossing Main Street. Looked almost exactly like the car in the Legacy Owners Association header at the upper left of this webpage.
  12. Saw a silver 1999 Legacy GT sedan in Santa Clara, heading northbound on Benton near Lafayette. It had aftermarket gunmetal rims but I didn't get a good look at the make. Anyway, he was waiting at a stoplight to cross Lafayette and I was making a right turn next to him. We both waved at each other before I took off. It was great seeing an "older" model Legacy in such good shape. Very nice ride.
  13. Saw a regal blue GT wagon yesterday in downtown San Jose, making a left turn from westbound St. John onto southbound Market Street at about 7:45am. I didn't get a close enough look to see if it was limited or not...
  14. Saw a 2005 Atlantic Blue 2.5GT wagon in Sunnyvale this afternoon, turning north onto Pastoria from eastbound Maude at 12:30pm on the dot. I didn't get a good enough look to make out if it was Limited or not, nor could I determine the tranny type.
  15. Yep, I thought that was you - it was me you saw. You caught me with a dirty car too. I'm getting it washed this weekend, I promise! It took a second for me to realize that you were behind me. At first glance, I thought it was an Impreza back there... except the headlights weren't quite right... and the hood scoop was too small... About 2 seconds later, my brain registered the fact that it was actually a 2005 Legacy GT, which is why I did a double-take.
  16. You are correct, I was not in the Mazda 6. I was, however, directly behind it in my Legacy. I was thinking about trying to get up next to you in the left lane and waving hello, but after I saw you turning right I just decided to stay put. I work about one block farther down Mary, more or less across from the post office, so I'm in the area often. Maybe we'll see each other on the road of these times again soon. Nice to meet you in person ... well, sort of.
  17. Well, I finally spotted my first non-Outback 2005 Legacy of any kind since I bought mine 4 weeks ago. It was a silver 2005 2.5GT non-limited Legacy wagon, turning east on Maude from northbound Mary Ave. in Sunnyvale around 1:05pm today. I don't know what kind of tranny it had, but if it was MT then it was nearly an exact copy of mine. Cool. And, on a separate note: That's freaky - I was in that area at nearly the exact same time. You almost saw two blue Legacy GT wagons.
