The darker side of the legacy . Black upper trim .
zactek replied to madrig's topic in Interior/Audio
For most hard vinyl, plastic items as well as smaller fabric pieces I would use SEM color coat #15243, satin black. I think it matches the factory black fairly well.I haven't used it on larger fabric areas like the headliner,so not too sure how it would look. Things like the dome light and possibly high wear parts might be better bought in OEM black. Zack K. -

The price difference would probably be huge. I would bet that all those interior pieces would probably run close to a grand. I know the sun visors are around $125 each. For the price of 3 or 4 SEM cans, you can probably do the whole interior. Zack K. -
Spec b trailing arms install
zactek replied to Collin9338's topic in Fourth Generation Legacy (2005 - 2009)
If the trailing arms are thicker at the hub area, does that mean the hub sits further out on the spec B? The axle spline area limits how far in the hub sits... Zack K. -
Well, that just makes TOO much sense, lol. Actually, that was my next move,I'm sure they sell those bolts by themselves,I just hate buying stuff I already have. It's not guessing if I get an actual answer, lol. If the center section is exactly like the VF 40,then I would use the small orifice bolt,I just can't get a straight answer. Thanks,Zack K.

Well, that's the thing....I DON'T have the banjo bolt that comes with the turbo,it was bought used. I do have the larger orifice banjo bolt that comes with the IP&T stainless line. I just don't want to over-oil this 16g if if uses the stock bearing and cartridge. Thanks,Zack K.

This is the only post on all of the 17 pages that talks about the banjo bolt orifice size. I just got a Kinugawa 16g and wondering if I should use the stock banjo bolt or the one that comes with the IP&T lines. Talking to Mike from Infamous a while back,he stressed re-using the original banjo bolt (minus the screen)if I'm running the stock turbo and his lines. The banjo bolt hole that comes with his lines is substantially larger. So, my question is: Do I use the stock or the larger orifice banjo bolt with the Kinugawa ?? Thanks, Zack K.

Just to be clear, I'm talking about the AT, NOT MT throwing the CEL. Here's an interesting thread on the subject http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/pulley-vs-lightweight-flywheel-37269.html?t=37269&highlight=cel+installing+lightweight+crank+pulley I can weigh the stock alt pulley and the Ralco aftermarket PS and crank pulleys, the Ralco alt pulley is already on the new alternator... I got the kit in the first link, the one with the alt. pulley (that's the only one installed so far, lol, fits like a glove) You're lowering the rotating mass of the motor with lighter pulleys, basically minimizing spinning losses. Unless they're underdriven (smaller diameter than stock, which might throw off certain parameters) there shouldn't be any CEL's

You should add Ralco RZ to the list. I think they're the nicest ones, they remind me of the old school Centerline wheels. I bought a set that contains the crank, alternator and PS pulleys. They're nicely machined, and fairly inexpensive. I haven't had a chance to weigh them yet, will try to in the next week or so. Zack K.

I could have sworn that guy had an earlier (05-07) model, I used to see and admire it there all the time as well before I got my Legacy. BTW, I got a lightly modded BSM wagon and I'm in Coney Island Zack K.
