  1. It's still stock, could be all the shit I leave in the back of the hatch haha.
  2. They moved locations, it actually was a really good meet and amazing turnout. Cool talking to the Cusco guys and Grimmspeed guys. Also parked next to a clean LGT. And spotted Fro. http://i.imgur.com/EAbc4kC.jpg
  3. This dude frequents the LGT pages on FB. He's a nice guy, I don't think he'd lie about anything on that car. Paperwork is good but the shop is a big deal too depends on who rebuilt it and what warranty they offer.
  4. Most of them at this point have been rebuilt once, maybe twice. You can find issues fast when they are going to have problems before buying. I'd make sure to do a compression test and ask probing questions like if the "Banjo Bolts" have been done, if they have no clue what you're talking about then they probably haven't. Dealer or personal sale, if you take it for a test drive checking the oil level is a good way to see how bad it's burning unless they are super good at keeping up on it, I think that'd be more for a personal sale but an easy check. Personally the big issues I see with the higher mileage is shot bushings, and stuff like axles, bearings, etc. Nobody factors in how bad that stuff can suck to replace. I had a lot of shot bushings on this wagon I just bought. I say don't touch a GT that has mods like intake, upgraded intercoolers and performance mods without a PROFESSIONAL tune. Not just a "Cobb stage 2 flash". I see a ton of them with DP's intakes, top or front mounts, BOV's and just a flash cobb map and those are usually the ones you see taking dumps a couple thousand miles later. This dude I met recently bought an black 05 sedan and it chugged a quart in less than 500 miles. Had a DP, intake, flash map, and a lot of shotty mods like HID's without a rubber seal for the back of the headlights. Good luck finding them, the wagon life is awesome. I never thought i'd like it more as a Sedan but I really do. Also Chad correct me if i'm wrong but on the 05's aren't the catted up pipe and vf40 cause for some issues later down the road for reliability?
  5. Just did my first writeup since I didn't like how hard it was to find tail light removal on the wagons. I REALLY suggest these bulbs, they are awesome. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/legacy-wagon-tail-light-removal-and-acme-led-light-install-261498.html
  6. So after one of my tail light bulbs went out I decided it was time for an upgrade. The stock tail light bulbs don’t cut it for me. I ended up getting the Acme “Redrocket” LED bulbs and they are really bright! I also didn't like most install guides on how to remove these tails since my sedan was so much easier to do, so here is a very detailed example with stuff most others were missing. I purchased these LED bulbs for a great price on theretrofitsource.com I also bought my awesome Mirimoto HID kit from them. Both times have been amazing quality, i'd give them a look! I may do a post-install write up for my HID kit also. LINK for Acme Redrocket 7443 bulbs: https://www.theretrofitsource.com/7443-acme-redrocket-51532.html Removing Tail light and installation instructions for 05-09 (BP) Legacy Wagons: 1) Tools: One 10mm socket with a wrench One tool of choice to help remove stubborn plastic rivets One medium sized Phillips screwdriver One kit of bulbs (I suggest these Acme bulbs from theretofitsource.com) Tail Light Bulb Size: 7443 (Running light and Brake light are integrated with these) http://i.imgur.com/cKR5bCB.jpg 2) Pre Install Notes: BE SURE to check your bulbs are working after you plug them in, they are positive and negative sides and it does matter which way you orient the bulbs. If you do it wrong your running lights wont work, and your brake lights won't come on. Be sure to test bulbs before putting everything back together (I made that mistake). 3) Install: A) Open hatch Imagine a Picture of me opening the hatch. B) Remove two screwdriver type plastic screws. I find the best way is to screw them just enough to get under the "screw" part with a flathead or other tool and pop them up and out. http://i.imgur.com/H9SWePU.jpg?1 C) Remove plastic shroud. I found the best way to do it is pry right in the middle of the headlight (picture below) and pull to the inner hatch and pull towards you, it should slide right out. WARNING - Make sure to be careful when pulling the piece out, the plastic piece that slides between the guide were broken already on mine. Careful when pulling, this is not a real needed part but could be annoying if you're like me and picky about that stuff. (Second below) http://i.imgur.com/fCJC3QK.jpg?2 http://i.imgur.com/Jdp5tNr.jpg?2 D) Remove two 10mm bolts top and bottom http://i.imgur.com/9W2fBma.jpg?1 E) Only two clips now hold the tail light in. Slide the tail light towards you, the two oval clips to hold it in without screws, just be gentle but firm and it should pop right out. (See picture below if you want to see what they look like) http://i.imgur.com/16zxENF.jpg?1 F) I just held the headlight while the blinker and marker were still connected. Unless you are replacing ALL bulbs it's easier to hold. Remove bulbs you need and replace while holding tail light. Be sure to not directly touch your bulb, if you do you will need to clean them with alcohol wipes. Circled is the Tail Light bulb area (MAY VARY ON WAGON YEAR) http://i.imgur.com/8l8hJ4l.jpg?1 http://i.imgur.com/RG1XYK4.jpg 4) Post Install These bulbs are friggin BRIGHT! I'm glad I upgraded to LED, these were well worth the money. I'll upload post night pictures down below. These LED's produce 450 lumens of light, i'd say about 3x as bright. Pictures don't really do justice. http://i.imgur.com/Ti0HuaO.jpg Thanks for reading! Note: I am not an employee or work for The Retrofit Source. I've just used them twice now and really like their shipping times, prices, and how they hold the highest quality products.
  7. Haha I told him people would give him shit for the flapz. It's auto but he has all the parts for a manual conversion.
  8. Saturdays 9:00am to 11:30am but our turnouts recently have been bad. Hopefully this meet picks things back up, but we aren't nearly as busy as we were when it started. I thought so haha, Bohemian is the only place off the top of my head, I can try to work it in with pricing lol. I went to The Ice Haus and probably had one of my favorite beers i've ever had there. The Schneider Weisse Tap 7, man it's good. But they charge $9.00 for one, I want to find somewhere that I could potentially buy it in a case for much cheaper.
  9. Chad, I met your buddy over at Firestone! He's a way nice guy, he knows Ted and Pimp as well. (Jason I think his name was, with the Tacoma). I had to get another lifetime and I will say I recommend the Ft Union location by i215 if you have the lifetime alignment. Super cool dudes. Too bad they let me know my rear upper control arm bushings on both sides are shot (easy fix), and my front endlinks are shot as well (along with the bushings). So much fixed on this car recently and it just keeps coming... I was just going to buy a whiteline front and rear kit with endlinks and bushings and mounts for a really good deal but with all the other repairs I can't. Get to replace my power steering pump this weekend as well since we couldn't get the sensor out of the aftermarket one that is currently on. Why do Subaru PS pumps suck so bad? Also have an HID kit on order since my current one completely died. I also got to replace my thermostat housing gasket w/ a new thermostat. I already just did valve covers, rear main, spark plugs, oil pan, couple other things since we had to pull the engine to get to the rear main. Somehow i'm still leaking oil from somewhere... And my FZ6R needs to be re-registered, so I can't ride right now with this amazing weather we are having. Anyways, sorry for ranting. I got spring break coming this next week, and talking to Chad's buddy reminded me of doing a meet. I can't spend a lot right now but hell a Cafe Rio meet would be fun. Maybe next Friday if anyone would be interested in doing a Rio meetup? Also, some of you possibly know but I try to keep it hidden. I run the C&C Salt Lake City event over at Sunset Coffee. We are doing the yearly cruise March 25th, so get to Cars and Coffee at Sunset Coffee that day to come on this cruise! 9:00am to the cruise at about 11:30am. We are trying to get the interest back in Cars & Coffee. http://www.facebook.com/CarsCoffeeSLC carsandcoffeeslc.com
  10. Chad, that's cool you know Alex, I hear he is one of the best tuners in Utah from multiple people I trust. If anything i've heard he's a better option than Simple for Tuning, i'd probably take my car to him if Simple is packed. I took my car into Mark Miller Southtowne for a bit, airbag recall, heater core done, Front & Rear Differentials, Transmission Flush and the car feels so much better. It shifts so much nicer, everything feels just more solid with putting power down. I'm just glad I have heat on my passenger side, lets hope this fixes my overheating up canyons on turbo load issue. Now just to deal with these leaky valve covers, find out why my power steering is leaking and then the car will be solid. I don't really want to change any gaskets when it's this cold though.
  11. Walter at Simple Performance may have something, i'd go check them out they are in downtown SLC.
  12. Nice! Finally another 07 DGM wagon. I have emailed Subaru looking to get a lead on production numbers but they didn't do it at all in the States. The only people I know of is DGM_WAG and me, and yours is the only other DGM wagon I've seen on the forum. I even tried weeding out the FB group DGM wagon owners but nothing came up. My guesstimate would be production numbers are less than 30 now.
  13. I usually can't stand those wheels but man they look really good here.
  14. Don't forget Wing Coop if you're talking wings. That place is amazing, single location up in Holladay / SLC.
  15. Ah I needed a turbo blanket bad! Sold that stuff fast.
  16. Custom made Axleback from a local shop here in Utah called Simple Performance. People who get their exhaust done by them they call the "Walter Special". It's hard finding the exhausts I want so I did this until I find what i'm looking for. Actually, it's not bad at all. Resonator and muffler deletes and it has one of the deepest non raspy UEL tone i've ever heard. It makes me almost not want a Greddy Evo 2 or Stromung.
  17. Here is my DGM 07 Wagon. http://i.imgur.com/f2FzcZM.jpg http://i.imgur.com/21cgues.jpg
  18. Desperately trying to find DGM Wagons, got it a couple months ago. I have a ways to go before it becomes a really presentable car, need to buff the whole car as well pull hail damage dents. Here are some pictures I got though. SublimeJoe your OBXT got me falling for wagons, I already loved them but that picture of you turning with the sun roof fully open next to the cop got me. http://i.imgur.com/21cgues.jpg http://i.imgur.com/f2FzcZM.jpg
  19. Looked up those tails and I guess they aren't made anymore but these may be? I'd love some LED tails once I start getting good income again.
  20. http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n121/JDMChizad/77%20Round%202/27E09F7D-6AFE-4DC7-B109-31EF7730E981.jpg Screate Oh man those are really good looking...
