  1. It doesnt look bad. Definitely different and one of a kind. It might even look nice on the left side of the trunk if you got rid of everything else and just had that and the 2.5gt across from one another . Especially on the black it would stick out nice. Or even if you could find bigger ones and jusy center them on your grille in place of the subaru logo that would probably look really nice too' date=' rather than an overlay.[/quote']

Ahhhh the L7 red shield instead of the blue oval in front... Now that would look interesting.... Hmmm. Really interesting.

  3. I don't know. Gotta let it settle for a bit. While I like the nod to nostalgia, the tradition has always been L7 on a badge centered in the grille or on the trunk. I also tend toward symmetrical design, so I think that's why I am on the fence at the moment.

It is creative, I will give you that. And certainly it is not unattractive, it looks quality. If you like it, I say run it!!!

I agree... Also, I think I went too close to the edge... Again, they are just two sevens from auto zone... I thought I would give it a try. I'll see in a few days. I thought about going with the L7 overlay... But I really like the Subaru logo.

  4. Our low mount turbo setup spools fast and produces big torque as low as 2500 rpms. At 3500 my increase from stock was about 90 wheel torque on the Cobb OTS Stage 1 map and 60-80 across the entire RPM range. Then I got a Stage1 E-tune from McDowell and probably increased torque and hp about 30 more. Woot!!! And this is on the shitty ACN 91 Octane gas here in Cali.

you get that on 91? that's sweet.

  5. Put a Stage1 tune high on the list. On the 5th Gen platform, the gains that are realized at Stage1 are like Stage2 for the 4th Gen platform. Believe me, you will not be dissappointed and it's the best bang for the buck on this car, loads more torque, improved driveablility and gas mileage.

Stage 1 Tune put me at 351 ft/lbs torque... thats just with AVO mufflers, nothing else. The car comes on like a kick in the pants in 3rd gear.

  6. I will post this here, because honestly I don't even know where to start looking. This winter destroyed my wheels 3 of 4 bent. Looking for some suggestions on some wheels that would look good, not too much money, BUT MUST IMPORTANTLY can take a pothole to the chin. I was surprised how little the stock wheels stood up to the Jersey roads this winter. Suggestions? or a point in the right direction will be appreciated.
  7. Gotta love our ugly ass, boring looking yellow fading into cream colored license plates. Plus the fact that we have to have them on the front

Its yellow!! i mean c'mon... sorry for getting on a soapbox... but YELLOW? When I am up for the plate renewal I will look into getting the blue plates... I am not sure how to do that, but I will definitely investigate when the time comes.
