Wait so it's normal to get those codes? I installed an up as I was doin the turbo, I didn't kno that would throw a code. Guess it makes since as I got one when I installed a catless downpipe but cyro took care if that with my stage2 tune. So I wonder if the stg 3 tune will take care of that also. What code did you get? I think mine is for front o2 wich I did screw up that sensor trying to get it out.

Ya I finished install today turns out ther wer some buggers on the coolant lines where the washers sit I had to knock them down with a file and it sealed up fine.. Now I have 14 cel codes..

Yea vacuum was the least of my worrys I fired it up today and had major oil and water leaks. After fooling around with water lines for hours with turbo on I broke 2 banjos and took everything back out and turbo is sitting on workbench again so I can install water lines tomarrow. I think I overtighted them the first time may have broke the copper washers

Hi guys I'm putting in a 16g been workin on it off and on for a few says now. Anyway it almost finished besides a couple uppipe bolts in way of putting on downpipe, I only need to put on the vacuum lines at wastegate and on intercooler flange. The old t is way 2 small and the new one I have doesn't realy work because the 2 nipples are offset( hard to explain) any advice? Also the nipple on my wastegate comes off at a 90 instead of strait like the one in the pics and is very hard to get to

I thought about getting the 18g and injectors down the road kind of wish I had but I have yet to finish installing the 16, I may be more pleased with it than I expected. As far as the sand in the turbo I talked to Bryan and I just blew it out with compressed air and there is not a piece left in it now. I was realy panicking for nothing

I may not have a car by the time I get it back..I can't afford to not drive my car, it's our only one we both have jobs we have to get to and I've been driving to long as it is..of course this hasn't happend to anyone else

Thanks I will try that I can't afford to wait another week, it's our only car now and I realy don't wanna drive it anymore till this is fixed. The package wasn't damaged it was jus all inside the plastic bag and it's all over the inside of inlet, exhaust and tho cold side of the intercooler part. Not sure if I'm using the correct terminology but you probly kno what I mean. What about the loose sound I hear when rotating left to right it sounds like something is sliding across the bottom on the inside? Thanks again

Hey guys just got my 16g from bnr today and looks like there is some sand in it? Is this normal? Sorry for the stupid question I was just under the assumption you wernt suposed to get any trash inside.. Also if I slowly rotate it in my hands I hear something rolling around inside like something is loose. Sorry for the newbie questions I just wanna make sure this is normal before I head up to the shop. Thamx all

Thanx for mentioning those I will look into them.. I found some fp on their website but there are so many idk which one. I guess u have to buy the line and filter seperate. I did clean the passenger ocv with the oil change, it was like if was siezed up but moves freely after cleaning. It had been 5k since oil change and wAs low on oil

Hell it doesn't sound or act blown..got the po0021 and flushed the oil as soon as I saw it. It drives fine, hits full boost if i want it to but i been staying out of boost since then.. Only thing I notice now is burning oil smell having to add oil alot but I havnt even noticed that after driving a few days. It's our only car, gf totaled hers recently.. I just need to know where to buy an oil line..

Hey guys so I'm trying to buy the 16g asap as I'm driving my car with a pretty much blown turbo..need the oil lines and infamous said they would be out of stock until January, anywhere else I could get one of these? I tried searching but infamous is the only place I found that sells the ip&t. Any others? Thanx

The p2138 mite not be related to the other codes I was having, did some research they were saying p0011 and 022 were related to ocvs, I think I caused some damage by not changing my oil in time..anyway I fixed a few things for a few different codes all at once and havnt seen one since so idk if they were related. Thamx for the help tho

Plz help guys I think I caused some damage just by not changing my oil in time.. I noticed p0011 and p0021 codes and was going to change oil and clean ocvs, but was coming up the mountain and got a couple shreiks from turbo stopped and noticed smoke coming from oil fill when I took the cap off.. Anyway I cleaned the ocv flushed the system and changed oil all codes are gone seems to be running ok but notice a burning plastic smell, along with the smoke in oil fill. Do you think my turbo is gone or just on its way out? Would buy a new one in the spring if I can hold out, no idea if I damaged my engine.. Thamx

Thanx I just cleaned the accel pedal and flushed the oil and changed it was filthy.. Havnt seen any more codes knock on wood thanx again!

Well I cleaned the accel pedal, and reset the codes.. But now have p0012 p0021 and the p2138 I havnt gotten around to clean tb yet, but these camshaft codes sound kinda scary.. Do you think their related? Any ideas?

Hey guys I just got this code last nite, as cold weather hit..sorry for the ignorance but where is the connectors your checking? There is lots of connectors under dash near gas pedal but it was dark and cold wen I looked. Will check again today thanx

Hey guys quik question.. I looked at the bnr turbos and noticed the 18g is only 25 bucks more than the 16. Why wouldn't you just get the bigger one? Is it just more supporting mods needed?

Hmm interesting.. I have a catless down, resonated catback, fmic(stock leaks at end tank), an intake, and a gfb bov recirculating 50/50, with plans for more in the future. I've been dreading the uppipe install but wth a retunes what like 50 bucks? And wen I say BOV, on these cars, i was referring to some type of hybrid/recirc/bpv. Just whatever isn't the stock dv..I didn't kno y'all were talking about jus dumping that sht in the clouds haha so at what point is it necessary to upgrade that part?

Never claimed to know it all I am pretty new here myself. Not afraid to learn something new. Just saying most guys at even stg 2 have all the above.. Anyway I got my blue vagcom working flawlessly with window 7, hit a deer while doing some logging, and im finally back on my way to stg 2

So slap on your 20g and don't forget to support it with your AWSOMe new fmic without buying any intake exhaust or bov parts..these are all totaly uncool and doesnt support any major upgrades..no1 wants to hear any excess turbo sounds, and every1 hates the sound of a boxer engine, and bovs are only for those with 30psi..haha not! U gotta start somewhere so why not Intake exhaust like every1 else in the tuner world

Ok so give me a break on the english im typing on a phone so i looked around on the intakes and turns out people are really frowning on aftermarket intakes below stage 3 so I could be wrong..I have an spt which people are also bashing but of course Subaru will tell you it's the best you can get, also says it can be used on stock tune, and claims that combined with the heat shield and spt catback can increase 30hp.. Car is running lean so I'm here trying to get my car tuned btw i did NOT blow up my car boosting everywhere in the past year without a tune..alsi how would u justify paying 1000 for mods such as a fmic for what 5hp? So what are we all doing wasting money on what is a daily driver/grocery getter for the most of us?? I'm just trying to get my car tuned and dudes wanting some mods for his new car so sure go for it!

Well the clutch lets up right off the floor miss gears wen shifting fast..mayb just my driving u deffantly have to get used to it..no1 else have this problem?? I was under the impression all subarus are like that
