I just got off the phone with Tein USA and with BC/BR Racing USA , I asked more about their coilovers to see about clearance and the diameter of the spring. Because Hanger had Tein Flex coilovers and Nic Fisher had BC/BR's. BC/BR Coilover: 62mm diameter Tein Flex coilover: 70 mm diameter My coilover - Tein Street Basic : 70mm in diameter So thankfully. I would be looking at the same kind of clearance as Hanger had... Minimal I can see why Nic had no worries and had more room to work with.

You're right, it MIGHT not fit. It's definitely a gamble and risk. However the more homework I've done on this fitment, I'm seeing that more and more are getting by with a +40 offset. I asked Nic Fisher and he said he had no problems. "And I asked Hangar" because he ran a Enkei 18x9.5 + 40 with his old LGT. And said it was close but it was ok. He also ran a 235/40. Instead of my 225/40. So. I'm just leaning more towards risking it. I'm running tein street basic coilovers. What do think Drift? Too close to call?

18x8 +45 with a 5mm spacer 225/40

Hey guys, I just sold my old wheels, and I'm going to purchase new ones in a couple weeks. My favorite is the Enkei Kojin 18x9.5 + 45 (shown below) 225/40/18 So this will definitely be an aggressive upgrade. I spoke with Nic Fisher (who owned the black LGT below) he said he also had 5 mm spacers all around so his offset was actually +40., also rolled and a slight pull. He said he didn't recall clearing the strut bar to be an issue. What do you guys think? And do you guys know anyone with that exact fitment specs amd if they ever had trouble with it ? I have tein basis coilovers as well. I agree with everything he said^. I love them and would recommend them. The only downside I see is that I'm maxed out in the front, and I want to go lower. But other than that... They're perfect
