Fml. Today was the day to do my Koni/Eibach install. Got the car up in the air, started with the lower rear strut bolt.. And that's where I stopped. No amount of working on that bolt would break it free. 2ft breaker bar, POS harbor freight electric impact gun, Torch... Wouldn't budge. So I guess ill have to take it to a shop and have them break the bolts free. What a waste of a day. On the other hand, my brothers spring swap in his BRZ went without a hitch. 02/19/14 - Spotted a black 05-09 LGT.. Looked like it was lowered, maybe tinted headlights/tails? Was traveling east on route 33 in Neptune near 7/11.

Anybody think its necessary to get an alignment after an axle swap? Does it depend on the method used to get the axle out? Hoping the slight vibration I feel under acceleration needs an alignment vs another axle. Sent from my Droid Incredible 2 using Tapatalk.

Had my EMPI 80-5531 installed yesterday along side my new clutch and I think everything is ok. I have a every so slight vibration under acceleration but nothing while coasting or slowing down. Not sure to attribute that to the new clutch or the axle quite yet. Only have driven 30 miles so far so time will tell.

I looked at it from both angles.. buy a better made part (hopefully) and do the job once.. or pay for a lower end part (probably) and maybe have to do it more than once. Would be nice if EMPI had a local reseller. IF they do, I couldnt find one in my limited search.

Yeah.. this was the cheapest I could find.. and not having to deal with a core exchange made it all that much better. I just pray that I got a good one that doesn't vibrate or click. Seems these knockoffs can be hit or miss, but EMPI seems to be the top knockoff so hopefully ill be ok. Does say "MADE IN CHINA" right on the box though.

Guess Ill have to start putting my wallet in my other rear pocket to straighten my seating position a lil bit. As I sit now, i wouldnt be able to see the right most LED/OLED... but its not like your supposed to stare at this thing all the time anyway so no biggie. Cant wait to see the finished product and how much it costs!

Didn't look or smell like burning oil to me though.. Looked like coolant smoke.. white vs. blueish Just my .02 though, not a mechanic by any means.. but having had cars with blown head-gaskets, I got used to the sight of that type of smoke/smell.

Im usually on the parkway everyday also.. but usually a little bit later. Was an early day for me. Now thinking about it, I think I have spotted you before, maybe last week at the 91 exit.. I think you took the 2nd exit towards burnt tavern road. Which makes sense if you live around Jack Martin. My gma-in-law lives near the light on 70 on jack martin in that retirement village.

Spotted a Black LGT, tinted... Chambersbridge road in Brick, NJ.... around 4:30pm yesterday. Was a few cars behind me pulling into my neighborhood but did a quick U turn to head back down chambersbridge towards route 70.
