As the two wires that control the stereo By the swc did not exist . I Basically, tapped into the two wires that came direct from the swc and took them directly to the back of the stereo could not of done it with out a member of your forum Looks like I did the same thing as you !!! Thanks for your input There is at least one happy Aussie from the land down under

FYI............Swc are now working :-)

sjm69 - I have a strong suspicion that the Macintosh system functions entirely differently than the radio we have in the USA. Sure do the gt and gtb have the same stereo and the swc ,my model ,the premium ,missed out on the swc ,but it's the same hu ,just missing the wires to connect them together

Hi all I know this is an old topic but I've installed the controls in my liberty (I'm in Australia) bought the part from the USA ,a shit load cheaper , but it does not operate the stock stereo my car is a my08 premium with the macintosh system , does anyone have any ideas how to get it to work please please any advise is very much appreciated Thanks Steve Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
