  1. Yeah let's do it. You got pm. Now is anyone looking to hood swap?
  2. I'm blowing oil out of the filter where it screws together. Anyone else seen this? Ill probably just grab the v2 upgrade.
  3. I paid heuberger to do the job. $115 an hour shop rate but I got the professionalism, speed, and attention I expected for that price. They ended up needing to replace both lateral links.
  4. I have a frozen rear toe bolt, so i will need good alignment shop that will deal with it and get me new parts from the dealer. It will def need to be cut, Firestone won't do that.
  5. I need new front glass and I need tires installed and alignment in the springs area... Recommendations? Edit: ok auto glass authority for glass. Who for the alignment?
  6. Would prefer to do a trade before I buy a junkyard piece and end up with an extra trunk lid. Willing to travel within the Midwest. Car is bsm.
  7. Bought it at 84k two years ago, just about to roll over 115k now. She got a new timing belt immediately when I brought her back as there was a cut on the original one. Got the infamous throwout bearing chirp shortly after that. I attributed that $1.5k worth of repairs to bad luck. The rotors, axles, wheel bearings, and two turbos I've had to replace are probably just because I'm a bad person.
  8. You can get a used oil analysis through a company like blackstone. They will help you determine whether your oil is working for your particular engine.
  9. Better impact gun? I had a stubborn one that came off with a lot of pb blaster, heat, and a 30" breaker.
  10. Man that was a hilariously bad show. I think the pitch probably started, "you know how most sitcoms are just racist or just homophobic?" Anyway... Those seats. Yeah past about 6 hours they really start to suck.

  12. The limited's leather seats are not great. You can find a decent position with the electric adjusters but most other leather seats I've sat in are better.
  13. i didn't get my bearings quite as cheap as lovedr but my GMB brand bearings work fine also.
  14. My timken front bearings work great. Amazon just shipped my GMB rear.
  15. I actually needed a rear wheel bearing so I got [ame=http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004QHJIBU/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i02?ie=UTF8&psc=1]this part[/ame]. Should be here on Saturday. I'll post back with impressions.
  16. Thanks for the link on the hubs Jmp, I think I will go with [ame=http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004QHNBH2/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER]this GMB hub[/ame] from amazon. With Amazon's return policy I'm not too worried about it- I would rather re-do the job until I get a good bearing than pay $120+ for a "genuine" one...
  17. Used oil analyses show that mobil 1 is one of the worst oils possible for our car.
  18. Bryan struck me as a busy dude too. But turnaround time was quick and the turbo performs well and holds up so no complaints overall.
  19. are your daughters toddlers and do you let them type for you?
