If I'm going to the trouble of a non-native swap, it's not going to be a 4 banger...
Fair enough, if I'm going to go through the trouble of having a daily and a fun car I'm sure not choosing a miata.

K24 is a fun engine. I have one in my civic (it came with it), and it's peppy.
-
no, but Japan only like... shift knob or valve stem caps or some dumb shit might be fun. Or handling stuff that work on the 12-15.
I'm looking for a 2015 to replace the 2012. That one will get suspension mods and an intake and stereo stuff.
-
Gunnar, check out Up-Garage. It should be a fairly ubiquitous chain, meaning multiple locations. It's like an Autozone for aftermarket stuff.
Also get me neat 2012 Civic SI stuff. I'll paypal you.
-
Damn shame as it's still faster than probably 90% minimum of the cars on this forum.
-
An American muscle car with big ass wide drag tires sticking out of the wheel wells in NOT RICE, nils.
I don't care what it is, that's f*cking retarded.
-
Suppose I should post the rest of the adventure.
Hit the Grand Canyon on the way home too
-
get me sweet 2012 civic si parts
-
Put the TE37's on so I can refinish the Advans:
Dude. White wheels on that car

-
Public service announcement: please tell him to sell me the white one

They don't sell nearly enough of anything wagon shaped without it being 'ruggedized' in some way. Look at the golf wagon. That's now an alltrak thing with plastic cladding. The Audi Allroad has always been a 'rugged' wagoncar thing. The new Buick regal wagon came to the US Market with plastic cladding.
The levorg is too car-like. Why bother bringing it here when they'll sell a hundred thousand outbacks in the time it would take them to move a thousand Levorgs?
-
But what I really want is a turbo 6MT Levorg Spec.B.
I'm actually closer to buying a pre-'10 Legacy/Outback turbo than I am to any new Subaru today, which should probably be a pretty big signal to SoA.
Unfortunately it's not a signal at all. They don't need to cater to their enthusiast market as much as you'd think. Enthusiasts are a very small percentage of owners and in any manufacturer's eyes, the BRZ, WRX and STI is is enough. They sell a shitload of plain jane Outbacks and foresters, I bet the xt take rate is low enough to justify not bothering with a performance version of any other model.

Saw a new 18 limited legacy today in white. I gotta admit only a drop and wheels is really all it needs to look pretty aggressive. the new foglight bezels are really sharp
Too bad they're all CVT garbage.
-
They're both stupid.
-
are your turn signals green?
-
Anyone in the bay area know anything about this/able to take a look at it?
-
Wow.
-
I think the manual one has that part gloss black. But if not, plastidip!
I'll be taking one for a test soon enough.
Yeah I'm pretty sure both sport trims it's black. You can also get the sport with a 10 speed auto that's actually a real transmission and not some cvt witchcraft.
Let's see if this works:

I think the 2018 accord is pretty damn good looking. Has an A7-esque vibe. The 2018 camry went too far predator/lexus.
-
I'm still kicking around the idea of trying to make it work, but I'd much rather have a white one like the one Gex sold
-
Nice. Keep the updates coming.
-
Too quiet? Nonsense, I thought it was perfect. Quieter when cruising but when you stomp it it opened up pretty well.
-
About the only thing I wouldn't want is the extra wheels as I already have a set laying around.
My bank may not take too kindly, plus I'd need to sell the Honda. It's a really long shot, but let me know when you're closer.
LGT Owners, what car will you drive next?
