I would recommend using parts for your vehicle. If you're worried about budget, buy the right thing the first time.

Older legacies, 4th gens especially, and other Subaru models had turbo engine options and so had more of an aftermarket as more people wanted to modify them. Not much of an aftermarket for a CVT commuter car these days.
