Just get a 6" fan for $40 and put that on the external cooler too. Either with an auto thermo-switch activator, or just a manual switch... or some sort of both. 2 position (Auto-on[normal everyday driving] and manual-on[climbing a trailer pulling a hill])

Question. regarding the hood scoop, tmic, and plastic engine cover. If the OBXT engine sits an inch lower than the LGT gngine, does the OBXT have a taller engine cover, a taller scoop(under side of the hood), or does it just have a gap between the scoop and engine cover?

Did you mention before that the clutches don't hold as well as you had hoped?

But mechanically its some valves and clutches?

Hmm, well I have no idea how the center diff works. Located in the trans, right?

Ok still doing the opposite, but only part I wont have is the center drive shaft bearing...so might just leave that and let it wear out early and then replace it with the OB lower bearing piece

sorry to bump an old-ish thread. I'm at about 65K miles right now. fluid still looks to be a nice red though. This is my first auto trans car. Still probably going to pick up some royal purple ATF and do this. I was going to take it somewhere eventually and have a shop do it, no need to now. lol might as well do the Diffs at the same time, not going to hurt anything other than a small dent in the wallet. haha better than the giant dent from replacing car parts though.
