Saw a dark grey 5th gen (looked lowered but it might have just been all that weight loading the springs) at the woods mobil in east providence this afternoon. You didn't notice me when you drove past and pulled up a couple pumps over from me..(it's ok, my car is so much smaller than yours, I imagine you're not used to noticing cars this size). Pretty sure you noticed me when I started up tho...

saw a light blue 05ish w/wing&MA plates on Thames st in downtown Newport this afternoon, parked near brick alley. Looked stock.

Newport yesterday afternoon exchanged waves with an APB(I think) LGT at the intersection where brenton rd turns into halidon ave. Just after, I saw a silver LGT parked at the bottom of wellington, had "SA103" written on the left rear window..

Yesterday around 7pm saw a silver 4th gen with a wing, I think rims too, going south on west main in middletown by Hess. I was in the Passat...

White LGT wagon around 5pm yesterday in portsmouth ri, southbound on west main near Melville, had roof rack, tinted windows, looked lowered&maybe rims too. I was in the Passat, you didn't see me.

Cool, his car does look nice. Don't know if he's on here tho.. Haha, yeah. Just gotta figure a way to get people to show up since it seems most of the island's LGTs aren't on here.

Did the one with the SPT stickers have gold wheels too? I think I spotted that guy parked in newport once.. I'm at NUWC..

Two LGTs on the island? That's a sight. There are a few at work, but I think only two are modified, and only one on here..

Shoot me a pm next time there's something going on over there.. I don't have the LGT out much, typically I drive my '13 passat TDI(burgundy), but it's a DGM '07, debadged&DRL delete, otherwise looks stock..

Ever head down to newport/around the island? I often take my LGT out for a jaunt down that way on the weekends.. That said, I live in Bristol and usually go to rt6/seekonk once a week, so I'll have to keep my eye out for you.

Little late on this spotting but down on wellington ave in newport last sun (sept 29th), saw a black LGT with gold wheels and a "SPT" sticker on the driver door. Nice car. Looked super fresh from the carwash clean.

This past sat, up at anchor subaru saw a 2.5i in the shop getting the diff oil changed.. black 7spoke wheels&lowered.. Then saw a silverish LGT rolling on big chromies heading north on 146 as I headed south..

I def can't commit to anything in sept, as it's 'hell month' at work. Actually, 'hell month' started mid July this year.. OCT 20 has potential for me tho.

Hahaha, yeah, I've heard of some crazy modded vw diesel's out there, even one TDI jetta running 11's. I'd have to autocross mine bone stock for the sheer humor of it- it's bigger than a 5th gen (though curb weight is actually like 20 lbs less), and the tires are some casual continental touring tires that really don't grip much. I'd just throw the DSG in 'S' and try to get it thru the turns Actually, it might not be too bad with, at the least, some grippy tires, considering it's got 236lbft@1750rpm.

I should autocross the Passat some time. Diesel power FTW!! I'd have the slowest(and biggest/heaviest) car out there, but I bet I'd get the best fuel economy!

Surprised I haven't seen you around then! I live over in Bristol, I love taking the LGT for rides out thru tiverton, lil compton, etc. Sadly, it's a driveway ornament at the moment, and will have to stay that way for the next couple weeks unless I feel like getting out there after work..

Black LGT headed north on 114, just over the line in warren around 430. I waved from the LGT, don't think you saw. Looked stock, too..

Waved at an ABP LGT w/ma plates on bellevue in Newport around 640pm, I was in the Passat..
