I'll respond to your PM publicly so in case anybody else wants to know.... Im running the kenwood HU as the sole source to aftermarket amps and speakers. The HU install isnt that hard you have to vampire tap off the stock stereos power leads etc and then you can install using the avo kit. I got it from avoturboworld.com I dont currently have sat radio but when I do I'll add it directly to the kenwood unit. The stock stereo has no function other then to provide power to the integrated a/c controls. Below is what the faceplate of the stereo looks like and why you cant replace the stock stereo without MAJOR MAJOR custom work. Yes someone may have already mentioned this but if you do need this done when you bring it in, make sure to bring both sets of keys and those little metal tags because they will have to reprogram your remotes for the new ECU.

F1, from my experience with my old garmin I played around with using the external antenna on the rear shelf and then tried it out on the trunk. I would say compared to the garmins internal antenna my signal was about 2x as good on the rear deck but like 6-7x as good when the antenna was outside of the car clear of obstructions. If you really want to get good signal you are going to have to mount it outside of the car.

I found the main spots of rattles in my car, the headliner by the sunroof switch rattles, the headliner at the back rattles, the entire rear deck rattles and the rear seats rattle.. Could somebody please advise on what the best materials would be to get for these issues?
