  1. What if I were to send you a grill and the plastic honeycomb from a Crown Victoria?? Could you so some S402 magic??
  2. Hi there, I need some help and advice on speakers. I was gonna get some Polk MM 651 or DB 651 with your spacers but I have some questions on the rears. I have an Alpine MRP-450 and a Kenwwod KSC-SW10 but the rear stock speakers are doing anything. Not sure how the installer wired everything. Maybe you have an idea on what the installer did??

    Feel free to email j.bader@hotmail.com

    Thanks for your time.

  3. I'm sure David will get it figured. One thing I have learned is every machine acts different. You want .050 and get .051, or you ask for .018 and get .015. Carbide tooling is the way to go if you have a lot of material to remove, but it gets expensive in a hurry. It needs a rigid set up as it is hard as ***k but it can be brittle and chip. HSS is tougher but you got to go slower. Emery cloth is your friend. What are the soft jaws for?? Hmm, I do have access to some aluminum. And a mill.
  4. I run manual lathes and mills all the time at work. 1. What material are you cutting? 2. What diameter? Round stock, square stock, casting? 3. Tooling. Carbide or HSS? 4. 3 jaw or 4 jaw or collet or face plate? Speeds and feeds are kind of important. Feel free to PM me. -JB BTW this valve body is one of the best mods I have done, tranny is still doing just fine.
  5. Hey John,

Got the headers/uppipe and they look great.

    Thanks again.

  6. In the lower passenger side corner it says "FY" then has the DOT and ASI numbers. I tried to take a picture but it came out rather funny. If it cracks early or dings easily I will let you guys know.
  7. Yep, I got the heated windshield that comes with the limited. The dealer quoted me $379 for the glass and they could not install. I called a local place that had the "heated" glass and install for $249 plus tax, plus they came to the house to do the work. Seems fine so far, but I haven't had to use the wiper hot patch yet.
  8. I've had a dash rattle for awhile and it got real bad after I installed LCA bushings. Haven't found the motivation to take apart the whole dash for these clips. Got my windshield replaced the other day for $249 installed. While the tech had the old one out I peeked inside to see if I could see these clips. There they were, whammo, right if front of my eyes. Got some 3M Fast Tack glue and applied some to these dirtly little clips. Not a lot, a couple or three drops per. Dash rattle is now gone. Getting rid of the rattle is worth the $249 I paid for the new windshield.
  9. Are they the same money as the after market stuff?
  10. Any chance of getting OEM bumpers that are JDM?? Not the fancy after market ones, but the real bumpers that came with these cars in Japan. Something a 40 year old can drive around with without getting the looks from the teeners.
  11. Somehow I don't think the tranny is your weakest link.
  12. Just installed HexMods VB in my Stg 3 '06 Wagon. Shifts were instantly better, even before the TCU relearns whatever it relearns. A couple of times a hard 1-2 shift but it's not consistant. Have not shifted WOT, but have at 15psi of boost (car is tuned at 19.5) and that is a huge improvement. Engagement is quick and solid. Downshifts are the same. Huge thanks to ClimberD for all of his time and effort that went into this. Well done!
