you need to fix that gnarly gap in your bumper bro. definitely can tell it's been off for headlight clearing and an FMIC install. sorry to point that out, your car looks awesome besides that. It's either bent or not quite seated properly in the channel.

  2. I tried everything above exactly, but it didn't work. It wouldn't work at 9600, 4800 or 2400 bits/sec. So I was frustrated and about to give up, but I decided to grab my APv1 cable and give it a shot. I tried to update with the ECUflash drivers but that didn't work. I went to Dynex website and DL'd the serial to usb drivers and updated those properly. Hooked it back up and tried at 9600, no go. Set it to 4800, nothing. 1 last try at 2400 and bam it worked!

thanks for the help. this is the same way it worked out last time. I tried everything with the VAG COM on 2 different newer laptops, neither would log with the car running. Switched to the AP cable and it worked. This thread inspired me to try the VAG COM again, but with a different much older laptop. same results.

I don't know what the deal is. I have the blue VAG COM cable that says Autonostics on it. no serial or part #.

2400 baud rate isn't an option. I set it to 2432 send and receive and it didn't work. well it worked when the ignition was on, but not after I start the car.

  4. Thanks

When I go into the com port settings, the top pull down bar is bits per second, and it's defaulted to 9600. I changed that setting to 4800 and it still didn't work (must be a coincident with the baud rate numbers?) That was after I clicked advanced and checked the baud rate, which like I said maxes at 4096.

Put down 278/274 on the PDX mustang @ 16.5 psi. I'm working on getting it tuned up into it's efficiency range, then alky in the spring.

I'm not sure what a stock STI puts down on this dyno, but you can see AKLGT's numbers, and farmerjohns rotated GT30 did 383/373.

this was my first 18G tune on PDX old Dynapak. this was with a 7psi actuator, and we had to install a bleeder on the WG actuator line to hit 17psi. I now have the 15psi actuator. My car had a coated Megan header and no CBE for this tune.
