I looked into EFI they wanted $7000 to do my engine not even my heads lol iw as just going to order all the parts and have my local Subaru dealership do it they quoted me what i just put up lol.

Also have to say I'm not to far from you only an hour hand half away.

So $1800+shipping $550+ heads refreshed $750=$3100 + 12 hours of labor at $89/hr $4,168.00 rough estimate. Please hit me with best shot. Im actually interested in this cause i do want a new motor basically. Looking for cheapest but best way to do it.

Cause if i buy a new(or not)Ej257 i can already have the pistons, i don't need to get it honed and cleaned out and measured so that i can order the new pistons, and also the bearing will be new. i Don't have to mess with those and the rods well they are all basically same rods.

I will slowly do what you did.. first purchases being the Ej257 then heads already have the exedy LWFW and stage 1 Exedy clutch.. so just need motor and heads and a new tune shouldn't be that hard just $3400 later..
