Did you have to custom cut your RA mud flaps? I been looking for an RA that's direct fit for my 03 L

 

Na man i just got the universal basic ones and painted the logo white lol

 

Then i just used self drilling screws to attach them where i could, $25 from rallysportdirect.com. Best $25 i spent on the car

Hey guys, i got my 2004 legacy gt in the fall. I'm 16 years old and have been working all day every summer for the last 5 years to get this car. I love it! Sorry for the pics, from an iphone. Now come the improvements.

-I already painted the rims black, i plan to eventually have these be winter rims.

-Tail lights are black.

-Looking to get 17 inch wheels, making a grill, and tint this summer.

-I like the headlights with no amber, but im not sure where to find them?

-Do you guys like this generation with or without the spoiler? My big dilema right now.

-I'd love to hear any comments/suggestion. Im a first time car and first time subaru owner so i dont know as much as most of you.

Well the front windshield sticker I got made at a shop but I've seen plenty on eBay (it had the circle and stars when it was made, but my 3700 drive from Alaska to Missouri made it come off), as for the rear, I actually cut it myself with an xacto knife out of my leftover vinyl from my stripes. You might be able to find a company online to just cut it for ya. I've been looking for a while for some "subaru rally team USA" decals with no luck, so I might have to find someone to make it for me locally.

Yes they're just led bulbs, there's a write up here under the 3rd gen area.

I dealt with all my own audio wiring too. You should be fine wiring a new one up to the original harness, just make sure you don't cut them too short or you'll be really frustrated. It happened to me before.

 

Right, ok

I can turn the old one on and off if I plug it in but all the audio is to the new one. It's a spidery clusterf*** of wires behind the radios, I hate it. I usually deal with aftermarket audio wiring myself, but I think I might have to take it to a pro on this one.

Im holding the JVC's plug out of pic top left, but you can see how he spliced into the original harness (middle of pic), which works when plugged in. Im hoping when i get a new deck that i can just cut off all the splicing and wire in the correct harnesses. After looking at the pic again it doesnt seem too bad but you guys can see my frustrations

The guy who had it before me was a dumbass. He just spliced in the wires of the new deck instead of getting the harness and stuff

Thank you wolf. The paint is by krylon and its called x-metals. It's made to paint Chrome but they sell a metalic "converter" base coat. It's goood stuff, it was never tacky and doesn't need a clear coat. Took like half a can for all the trim. It would deffinitly match your cars new paint

Refreshing Update... Just did the H&R in the front for a "Raked" and liked it for a while... Going to do the H&R rears tonight(Already 10pm) to level her out a little more since am bored!
