  1. Drove her today 1st time in a few weeks.

Wife is on me to sell her, I have a 71 Alfa Romeo GTV I'm restoring and she's on my a**,

tough decision to be made soon. Alfa's not going anywhere so it will probably have to go.

My wagon is a 9 out of 10 exterior and interior so it should go quickly if someone wants a stg1 with no power mods. Someone talk me into getting divorced instead, Lol

  2. Thank for the condolences all. I am still just besides myself about this. I have 5 other cars 2-5x what the wagon is worth and yet I would trade any of them to have it back. I ugly cried in my truck today over it. I’ve had close relatives pass away and shed less tears.

    The GReddy did not survive.

Bummer ,I'm amazed every time I drive it how good this exhaust sounds with out being obnoxious.

Sorry for the reminder, it's okay to get choked up, ever since I had my daughter I've become a crier even when happy.

  3. Welp, I totaled my wagon last night. Was out for a spirited drive with friends and lost the back end coming around a corner. I emerged unscathed miraculously. Wagon is definitely done for. Very sad day. I am completely devastated. 10 years of ownership, hundreds of hours of work, all gone in a heartbeat. Drivetrain is still healthy. It will live on in something. Not sure what yet.

So sorry to hear Ben, most important you're well!

Look forward to seeing what you come up with next.

    Did the GReddy survive?:)

  4. i added ZDDP to my oil. https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/r/advice/car-maintenance/zddp-motor-oil-additive-engine-oil-additives-that-work

But only when didn't have access to my stash of old turbo diesel engine oil. I'm running out, so looking for a replacement.

Me too, so I'm looking. Current T6 with Zinc additive? Or? Since I'm not driving her often, I'll spend extra money if it will make a diff!

  5. I was pretty close to messing around with a CV grill but gave up dealing with local yards. Where did you acquire yours? I feel like with time and patience, lots of small cuts, it has to be pretty doable. Are you using a subaru badge to cover the ford emblem base?

    Ebay.

Yes I will be, I think it a 08 Impreza emblem (DIY thread), I'm not going to buy it until the grille is completed.

  6. Taking orders for another? :)

 I was next in line for one after SBT received his (2014) got tired of waiting.

I'm sure this is going to to take plenty of time trimming and fitting the honeycomb, then of course I'll need it to be as close to perfect as possible with glue and filler, so NO!!

I already cut one side of a honeycomb grill too short, yes I could make it work but the emblem would be slightly off center so I'm going to try again. I know I can do the work but getting the honeycomb to fit perfectly is going to be tough if I don't take my time and measure 10x, thank God there are pic's I can go from.
