  1. Throwing P0761 code: shift Solenoid 'C' Performance or Stuck Off... any advice here guys before I go out and drop my pan again... already did a full fluid flush.

     

    is this something that will be repairable on the VB or is it more than likely that I will need a new OEM VB

  2. I do not know about the Level 10 product offerings, but I do know enough about off the shelf rebuild kits to say that you should really have a good understanding of tolerances if you are going to refresh your own clutch packs.

     

    I've teamed up with KoukiS14 so that between the two of us we can have all aspects of the 5EAT covered. He is pre-releasing plug & play clutch pack and rebuild kits. The clutch packs are precisely toleranced on not one but two axes. They are far superior in a ways that neither stock or regular rebuild kits can match.

    ok sooo.... where can I find details on his kits?? I really need to get my baby on the road. and I know you're workin on it.. but 08 VBs in the near future??

  3. ok sooooo..... my trans decided to no longer put power down past 2nd gear.. I can still feel each gear engage, and reverse 1 & 2nd seem to work the same as normal... im assuming the trans is shot, although I'm hoping its primarily the torque converter gave out. I'm going to drop the pan hopefully this weekend and check to see how much debris is in there. aside from that any other recommendations on what I can do to further diagnose the issue???

     

    also, does anybody have any experience / feedback on the level 10 TQ converter and 'bulletproof' 5eat rebuild kit?!?! halp meeee

  4. OK..... Question and hope to hear something other than horrid news >.<

     

    noticed Yesterday that between 2nd & 3rd Gear has a noticeable vibration that depending on the RPMs can be pretty violent >.< I had an ATF Flush in January... admittingly I've been engine braking a good bit the past few days, cuz I haven't had the time to throw on new pads n rotors.

     

    any ideas? Advice? Good news? lol realllyy don't wanna have to throw in a new Trans

  5. Ok so I'm a proud new owner of an 08 lgt. I have read and read and read and I'm still not confident in doing a stage 2 upgrade. I'm scared to death I'm gonna blow a tranny and it seems that for an 08 I have two options.

     

    1) go stage 2 and start going back to church to pray nothing happens

     

    2) stay stock and continue to wish I had more power.

     

    Is that about right?

     

     

    Stage 3 08 LGT 5eat here... 290s whp/tq for almost a year, tranny is holding up great. I have the truCool 454 installed, and I Do Flush my ATF pretty regularly.

     

    PRAYYYYING for the 08 VB mod to be ready SOON so I can go for a more aggressive tune with e85... >.<

  6. temp listed on the graph was 93F... so yes it was pretty hot.

     

    doesnt show a drop in RPMs but it drops the HP n TQ a fair amount. it takes until 5.5k to reach the point it was pre-drop.... because it dips slightly again at 5.3k.

  7. As you can hopefully see on my graph mine takes a considerable dip at around 5.1k.. and my tuner noted at the bottom (and when i spoke to him) that the TC was unlocking at that point... what the Efffff

  8. Haha k that's what I was lookin to hear!! 280hp/tq atm... Upgrade/replace tc in your opinion before going further? My tuner said it was unlocking at 5k rmp when he was tuning it...

     

    Edit: have an 08 if u didn't notice... So still waiting for vb
