  1. This past weekend, while my 1993 Subaru Legacy car (which I love and adore) is still in preliminary tests for repair here at home, I thought about me not knowing (at my age) how to easily check for problems on a car due to lack of knowledge. I read about 50 pages I printed from the web on what sensors in the car do, the last couple days and about 40 more to go today. You know, I thought that if I had kids and grandkids, I would make sure starting at their age 5 to introduce them to car repair - kids love to tinker with stuff anyways and love the praise when you tell them so. And every year thereafter, I'd make sure they go to mechanics class (or teach them at home) until they were 18 years old so that car maintenance would be easy and become 2nd nature to them! Truly, I would do this. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. Yep, that's what I would do.
  2. Please read my new thread as to why I towed my little green car home today! (boo-hoo)
