  1. Decided to not go with the S402 seats-I was never a fan of the grey two-tone and could foresee sliding around in corners like in my old GT leather seats. I’ve had some Recaro’s ( bought pre-covid when international shipping prices were sane) that just fit the black interior better(imo) than the OEM S402s. Recaros bolted in without Recaro rails( I have lhd/rhd set if anyone needs some) and kept the cars original belts. Just need to hunt the forums for “turn off the airbag light when switching seats ect) and all should be well again in the dash. Miss the heat and power options this time of year but I’ll take it. The Recaros are very comfortable and keep me planted in all driving conditions. Also picked up another turbo for the winter build. My current VF51 is fine but a back-up is always a good thing. This month the car decided to let it’s power steering pump go, so for now the latest work is replacing it. Costly little buggers. (Subaru OEM )
  2. Post a pic-grey or white-love to see them. Especially at dusk/night. I’ve just never seen them in a grey car and was fishing for inspiration.(I’m sure I can find a few on LGT but just being laz-e)Those fogs on a pearl car would be a no-brainer for me(best of both worlds). Just hesitating..they’re not the easiest to find or cheap. thanks for the reply!
  3. Anyone running some OEM rainbow rare fog lights? Let's see it-
  4. From the group buy you organized years ago-many thanks brother.
  5. Yes indeed. Over 10 years old and still humming-love it. ( eventually when the engine gets done I’ll add the correct exhaust )
  6. Lucky me- some talented friends worked their magic. Bumper is “safely” back together. Exhaust sticks out for now but not bad.
  7. Excellent! Many thanks! The original bar looks like it would take awhile to cut.
  8. JDM bumper project. Will need to fashion a smaller rear beam to replace e the larger USDM one. (besides safety I’m sure the frame would miss the support) (-and thanks to the members that took pics of the process-appreciate it)
  9. Unfortunately I do have an extra set. lhd and Rhd vents are the same(99%on that) PM if you’d like to give them a try. (Micro fiber cloth not included)
  10. I’m LHD as well. Radio is for rhd so fitment needs some “adjusting” for the trim pieces to fit flush. (plenty of these radios on eBay ect)
  11. So the shop I took it to used a dye to make it black. Not ideal but worked. See there’s a suggestion here for alternative liner-I’ll probably give those a go- the died liner left some lines in the sunshade when the car sat in the sun for a day.
  12. Above the McIntosh radio? That’s the “piano” black treatment. Could be a very well done spray job or oem. Have the vents/nav and a right hand drive “piano black” ashtray/clock. (Happy to sell it if your rhd)
  13. Turbo looks good with no shaft play. Heads are out from the old block. Good fall driving weather ahead so I’ll wait until January to swap in the ‘new’ twin-scroll set up.
  14. I’m 99% sure this is where the ID tag for the S402 goes from factory. Before I punch a few holes anyone see different? (Drivers side btw)
  15. The fun part is you don’t feel like your beating on the car when you really get on the brakes.
  16. Pics of the S402 package that's in the car now . I enjoyed being able to see all the bits laid out when I got it off the pallet(not my pics here-from the vendor/jspecauto.com) Now its all hidden;(
  17. Impressive handling with all that comfort no? Love the pink/bills combo. (Great pics btw.)
  18. Neat to find the auto leveling device for the headlights on the rear suspension arm/ just tacked it on going down the line. ( I do have a complete wiring harness from an S402 but hesitated installing the leveling unit. Chasing Electric gremlins is a skill I lack.)
  19. My son checks the hight, “could be lower Dad”, he says. My back says no.
  20. Saw this at WBM- always a favorite of mine to pass by. That color and build quality in person strikes inspiration. IMG_4851.MOV
  21. Another item off the list. Easiest Sunday project to date. (Leaves time to vacuum-yikes)
  22. Indeed- I figure there are plenty of replacement dash’s available if all goes south. I have the center speaker as well-it’ll need it’s own power source-lots of rewiring. “TightFit Fabrication” has helped a bunch for adaptors. fingers crossed
  23. Thanks! I was in Chitown for 15 years but moved East 3years ago. RI/Ocean State for now.
  24. It’s that time of year so on go the BBS with some original spec 235/40/18s. Great ride quality with plenty of grip-no more “pucker factor” on road imperfections. I do park 10’ from the curb these days. car is also much lighter on its feet-but just bling.
