  1. @DoctorDaveLGT thanks for the #. Appreciate it! indeed-the fenders/nose/hood will be the last piece to this puzzle(would have liked to put them in sooner but patience patience I tell myself). Car’s down for engine work so I’ll spare the new paint/nose months of shop leaning around the engine bay. my favorite fake piece I bought years back from Japan was a grill emblem. It looked good in the pics-but the actual item didn’t really pass inspection. Much larger than the real thing. I keep learning and on it goes..
  2. @scoobydoobydooThank you sir- that's probably the reason for doing all this really;) just the wheels alone and I could call it a day. Not sure if the S402's had the silver cover's or actual complete silver mirrors. I've seen both for sale and went with the JDM folding all silver option. ( I've seen the silver cover's listed as 'S402' but have also experienced specB parts listed as 'S402' from time to time. I probably won't go after any of the S402 rear emblems for sale out in the world either.. I too have a few 'S204' badges that I could auction and re-arrange for a premium price;/
  3. A few pfa before she goes down for a winter retool.
  4. New year new block. Took the heads off the S402 block and sent them out to a shop for resurfacing/port/polish ect. The heads will join a new STI RA block with Manley pistons/ pro-h rods and a nitride treated sti crankshaft. I took advantage of an IAG sale awhile back and picked up a competition series oil pickup package.( love the killerB, but the price was right for the IAG)
  5. indeed it's a different part. So the Bride cancels the airbag op' while the one I posted keeps the airbag active/operational at all times even if there's no one in the seat( is my understanding?- I may be off of course-its all new to me) I may be out of my wheelhouse trying to heat the Recaro's with the hem stuff as you did- that's sweet.
  6. Found this guy in Ireland that makes occupancy seat weight sensors for the aftermarket Recaro/Sparco/Konig seats airbag prob. More expensive than the Bride option above(thanks again Sccoby) but thought it was neat there's a few options out there.
  7. Sti rack is in- Many thanks for the disconnect thread. Cheers
  8. Decided to not go with the S402 seats-I was never a fan of the grey two-tone and could foresee sliding around in corners like in my old GT leather seats. I’ve had some Recaro’s ( bought pre-covid when international shipping prices were sane) that just fit the black interior better(imo) than the OEM S402s. Recaros bolted in without Recaro rails( I have lhd/rhd set if anyone needs some) and kept the cars original belts. Just need to hunt the forums for “turn off the airbag light when switching seats ect) and all should be well again in the dash. Miss the heat and power options this time of year but I’ll take it. The Recaros are very comfortable and keep me planted in all driving conditions. Also picked up another turbo for the winter build. My current VF51 is fine but a back-up is always a good thing. This month the car decided to let it’s power steering pump go, so for now the latest work is replacing it. Costly little buggers. (Subaru OEM )
  9. Post a pic-grey or white-love to see them. Especially at dusk/night. I’ve just never seen them in a grey car and was fishing for inspiration.(I’m sure I can find a few on LGT but just being laz-e)Those fogs on a pearl car would be a no-brainer for me(best of both worlds). Just hesitating..they’re not the easiest to find or cheap. thanks for the reply!
  10. Anyone running some OEM rainbow rare fog lights? Let's see it-
  11. From the group buy you organized years ago-many thanks brother.
  12. Yes indeed. Over 10 years old and still humming-love it. ( eventually when the engine gets done I’ll add the correct exhaust )
  13. Lucky me- some talented friends worked their magic. Bumper is “safely” back together. Exhaust sticks out for now but not bad.
  14. Excellent! Many thanks! The original bar looks like it would take awhile to cut.
  15. JDM bumper project. Will need to fashion a smaller rear beam to replace e the larger USDM one. (besides safety I’m sure the frame would miss the support) (-and thanks to the members that took pics of the process-appreciate it)
  16. Unfortunately I do have an extra set. lhd and Rhd vents are the same(99%on that) PM if you’d like to give them a try. (Micro fiber cloth not included)
  17. I’m LHD as well. Radio is for rhd so fitment needs some “adjusting” for the trim pieces to fit flush. (plenty of these radios on eBay ect)
  18. So the shop I took it to used a dye to make it black. Not ideal but worked. See there’s a suggestion here for alternative liner-I’ll probably give those a go- the died liner left some lines in the sunshade when the car sat in the sun for a day.
  19. Above the McIntosh radio? That’s the “piano” black treatment. Could be a very well done spray job or oem. Have the vents/nav and a right hand drive “piano black” ashtray/clock. (Happy to sell it if your rhd)
  20. Turbo looks good with no shaft play. Heads are out from the old block. Good fall driving weather ahead so I’ll wait until January to swap in the ‘new’ twin-scroll set up.
  21. I’m 99% sure this is where the ID tag for the S402 goes from factory. Before I punch a few holes anyone see different? (Drivers side btw)
  22. The fun part is you don’t feel like your beating on the car when you really get on the brakes.
  23. Pics of the S402 package that's in the car now . I enjoyed being able to see all the bits laid out when I got it off the pallet(not my pics here-from the vendor/jspecauto.com) Now its all hidden;(
  24. Impressive handling with all that comfort no? Love the pink/bills combo. (Great pics btw.)
