  1. Dave!! Did you ever end up doing anything with the pictures? Any cool projects? Hope all is well my friend!
  2. Thanks for the offer, I'm probably just gonna stick with the dip for now. After seeing linksus' car, bronze might look goooood. You should definitely go for it.
  3. That looks really good! Do you have happen to have a side shot so I can get a better view? Also, it's kinda hard to tell, but is there a gloss at all in that powder coated finish? Or is it pretty flat?
  4. OK, so, I'm gonna hold off on buying new wheels for the moment, and plasti-dip them instead. Opinions on color please!! I'm really liking the new anthracite gray with glossifier, but I'm open to suggestions. A gloss black is probably my second choice, and gunmetal might look decent. Anywho, what do you guys and gals think? http://i.imgur.com/nbwsxfq.jpg
  5. That rear end is SECKSAY!!!! Also, I've never been a huge fan of dipping our 5th gen wheels, but this is seriously making me reconsider...I've been wanting to do some new ones, but this looks pretty damn good. AND, it would free up some coin for performance mods. Really looks gooooood.
  6. You rock Dave!!! We need to get together next month...I might be getting a top mount from Racerx Also, I need stickers!
  7. There aren't enough adjectives to describe how wonderful my experience with Dave at Cryotune has been. From the get go, he's explained/answered any and all questions I've had (big job considering my noobishness), and I can safely say he blew my expectations out of the water. Considering how much torque was added, SAFELY, this car feels like a monster. It was a pleasure Dave, and I won't hesitate to send anyone I know your way. Also, I look forward to meeting up in a couple weeks for a checkup! THAT is what we call being thorough folks!!! Dave, you da MAN!
  8. Those things look INCREDIBLE!!! Just out of curiosity, what kind of setup do you have? Springs? CO's? I think you have the perfect look right there.
  9. http://i.imgur.com/g2gUP91.jpg So far, swapped the lights from my 13' 3.6r, and had the Invidia installed. I'm in loooooove.
  10. Shweeeet, thanks! The AB portion are the parts I'd actually like to keep, but it's all welded :/ Sounds like you're both right, and it'll be cheaper/easier just to get a new setup.
  11. Question! I absolutely love the CBE that was installed last year on my 3.6r, but I'm (fingers crossed) going to be buying a 2011 GT here later this month. Any chance I can swap my current setup without too many headaches? My apologies for where this is posted, but I looked in the naturally aspirated section and there isn't a whole lot of activity :/
  12. Sent a pm! Congrats on all of the happy customers!!
  13. OK, so I recently got a new job as an Auto Broker for Centennial Leasing and Sales...it's seriously AWESOME! Anywho, at our offices, we have a guy named Dave who does all of the paint/scratch repairs. I see him every day (when I take smoke breaks, I watch him work out back), and let me tell you, he's really good at what he does! He's VERY fairly priced as well, and has quick turnaround. SO, just like to add him to the colorado recommended business section! PaintSmith Automotive Reconditioning Inc. David Smith 720-375-3419 He works here, address is 67 Inverness Drive East, suite 100 Englewood, CO 80112 He specializes in bumper repair, and can even fix puntcures! Factory color matching, scratch removal, headlight restoration (off the top of my head, he does the set for $50), wet sanding...he does quite a wide variety of paint related fixes. We, Centennial Leasing and Sales, have a constant stream of cars that customers either purchased/are purchasing that require work on a consistent basis, and he receives nothing but high praise from all clientele. Anywho, give him a call!
  14. Exactly! Well, thanks for confirming I wasn't the only one experiencing that. Too bad they couldn't spend some more R&D dollars on this glitchy system of ours :/
  15. any reasoning on WHY that is? I've never noticed that in another car I've driven. Maybe I just didn't realize that it was happening, but now that I notice it....it bugs the crap out of me
  16. Just read through everything...a big thank you to the OP for clearing up some questions. I do, however, have a question that I don't think has been answered yet. Yesterday, was driving down the highway, and it was about 90 degrees out. Pretty toasty inside the car...very sunny day, windows had been up, so I turned on the AUTO A/C and had both sides set at 65. The cold air was definitely cranking, but I noticed something odd. I had it on full face vent (not sure what the EXACT name is, but it's the setting that just blows air out of the dash vents) because the cool air felt really nice on my sunburned arms. Well, after about 15 minutes of driving on the highway (car was fully warmed up, I was doing about 70ish), I started to realize that the cold air was kind of getting less cold, and it was fairly cyclical. It would be frigid goodness, then, for a few seconds, would just be "normal" not so frigid goodness. Still "cool", but not Ice cold. So, I started timing it. Basically, for 15 seconds, the air would be frigid. For three seconds, it was "cool" (not frigid). 15 seconds, freeze, 3 seconds, normal. And on and on. I realize that the compressor kicks on and off, but I want frigid cold ALL the time when the A/C is on full cold. Has anyone else noticed this??? And just for the record, I've only tried it in two vent modes...the face vent, and the combo face/foot vent. Both on 65 with A/C Auto on. AND, the same thing happens at all fan speeds, from low to high. help?
  17. Well, count me out...I might be outa town that weekend. I'll check back, but right now it looks like a no go
  18. you're probly right...I dunno, I figured just in CASE the word got out somehow. But, if it was just legacygt peeps, then I'm sure anywhere would be fine
  19. Well if it DOES happen, I can chauffeur you around a bit...recently unemployed, so I've got some "extra" time on my hands haha. Everybody up for a meet? I can talk to my old boss, might be able to talk him into giving me a permit for one of the parks in Douglas County somewhere.
  20. Props on the video. 3:36 is asstastic. I also liked that leather wrapped hood...crazy!
  21. Anyone know what kind of requirements/payments are necessary to organize a meet? Size, location, permits, etc etc?
