Timing Belt Replacement 2.5T

This work is a bit advanced for me but I think Subaru being an "engineers" car would be overbuilt and the timing belt good for at least 10% more than the manual recommends (168,000 km in Canada, or about 105,000 mi) for my 05 Outback. Any thoughts?
