Finally got a chance to snap a few of my 2011 2.5i GGM - tinted (32/13) & '08 SpecB wheels with Cooper Zeon RS3-A 225/50R18's.

The Spec B rims really "belong" on your car. Looks great.

Nice. It takes me ~8 hours for a similar full detail. In lieu of washing the door jams I've started using waterless car wash and I do it at the end. Although I don't do any specific treatments for black plastic or seals. What do you use?

Yeah, looking good, but for some reason birds like to poop on it, dunno why. I'm always cleaning it off. Do you still have the lower grillcraft?

How does the lower grill craft attach to the car?

I never realized that SSM is darker than your "typical" silver car. I know that all paint has a different shade to it but I never realized how dark it actually is. Here is my car parked down the shore between someones Camaro and my mother-in-law's Nissan Rogue.

Yeah, that fact that SSM was darker then typical silvers made it a great choice for me.

Those look like USDM Forester rims. I don't believe hmmrdwn is from the US>

what kind of performance gains where there? i was asking about an exhaust for my 2.5i and was told it would cause a loss of power, and loss of torque.

If I'm correct, you could lose low end torque, but gain @ the higher RPM. That is what my research told me when I was looking to upgrade on my 08 Impreza.

kinda wish i could buy this as an axle back and keep the factory pre-muffler/resonator to maybe quiet it down for long highway drives.

Agreed...I'd get really annoyed with highway drone.

Whta do you think about 20 'wheels on a LGT?! It will cause mechanical problems???

IMO, the 20's look good but that is about it. I'd be more concerned about the ride quality and running around on rubber bands.

Hub caps look better then nothing.

Spec B rims look great w/ the GGM.

How do you guys like the SSM color? Are you happy with it or would you choose another color? Does it hide dirt and grime fairly good? Look sharp after a wash and wax?

 

I have the optionm of white or silver at my dealer in the config I want. Another dealer in Denver has the Azurite blue that I like but would like to buy local. I also like the darker interior in the SSM.

SSM is great..Easy to keep clean and easily hides minor scratches. You also don't see any minor swirl marks either. Oh and it's still a shade darker from other silvers out there.

Subaru outback sports rims. I forgot what year, I think it was the 07.

2011 Subaru Legacy 2.5i with Subaru outback rims

Wow. The rims look great on there.

Here is my 2011 2.5i. Haven't done much to it yet:

 

- 55% tint on front windows.

- 5% tint on rear 3 windows and on tail lights.

- Colormatched roof/rear window lip .

- Colormatched mesh grill (coming soon, currently in paint shop).

- LED in map light, trunk, puddle lights, step lights, etc. Check out my reverse light thread too.

Looks good, but I thought the puddle lights already had LED's in them?

This isn't a legacy, but here you go. I'm told, and assured by an insurance appraiser that this is how ALL Subaru Type curtain air bags deploy. He is going to take pictures if of a legacy if he comes across one. But he's been looking since last May or June.
