it's a nice piece and sounds like no other turbo ive ever heard in-car. it literally, in every aspect, sounds like a jet engine at the airport when you're in the car. it's a whistler-wurrrr sound. im happy with it, makes good power, quality parts

Spotted an ABP 5th gen on Central St. around 6ish in Winchendon. Gold grimmspeed sticker. You have a headlight out...IVE BEEN SPOTTED lol
yea i just ordered new bulbs i def didnt see you though. was i parked cause i was ordering my fat ass some food?
you have a 5th gen too?

I think I already have my answer but would any efficiencies be gained by having a better pump installed on a N/A car? Not that it needs more fuel but maybe better delivery of the required amount.
No.

did you order from wakefield subaru? coulda hooked you up YO

You work in wakefield? I live in wakefield.

no, if its positive currently, at 15.99, you can lower just the target and see what error you get then. if the error ever comes up negative id say its time to start lowering the initial wgdc. turbo dynamics does the rest in terms of reducing dc and adding dc to hit targets for compensations like temp, baro, etc.... if you google boost error you can get a better idea
-
depends on what your inital wgdc values are like. if you log boost error you can see if the initial values are enough to reach target. if you have minimal boost error then lower the wgdc by a few percent. if you have positive boost error then lower the target and the error will decrease, if its a negative error than your inital dc's are too high and need to be lowered as that would indicate overshooting target (overboosting).

My concern is the tcu ecu dash gauge cluster wiring bullshit

that's now put on the way back burner

oh you think so

I just read this whole thread. If I were you I would've hanged myself after the second ring problem. But something also caught my attention, you were running 26psi at one point? Did the tuner think that was okay to do? Maybe the ring setup for these engines are just not constructed strongly enough to handle that much boost? I always heard no more than 24psi....

You're not even funny

who's robin

um i think it would be a miracle that it still runs.

i figured he was joking. ffs i hope he was

i had that issue, i ended up just putting the xml's in the rr directory

what? i dont get it. self gapping iridiums is not a good idea as the electrode is super delicate. go to the god damn dealer and get oems and put them in. it's not complicated.
