  1. Just a quick shot after I put the spats on. Still not sure how I feel about them - more specifically the rears. As seen in the WDYDTY3GLT v6 thread.
  2. Just a heads up, if you have had or will have your dash replaced, check to make sure your emergency flashers work prior to leaving the dealership. I just discovered mine, which was done in August, aren't working and we picked up the wife's today and I made her check and hers weren't working either. Looks like they just forgot to plug it back in.
  3. The problem I have with those is that you have to put the car's sun visors down to hold it up. I've had to replace all the driver's sun visors on all my cars, so I'm now only using ones I can tuck in and not have to fold them down. Not sure why you don't think yours would qualify. If it's sticky you should be covered. Wait until this summer on a hot day and take it in.
  4. I took mine in yesterday. It took all of 5 minutes including checking in and inspection for him to qualify me and set up an order. The plan is to replace the airbag and dash at the same time. I use sun visors nearly 100% of the time when parked for more than a few minutes. You can see how the visors have some small gaps that allow direct sunlight to hit the dash: http://i.imgbox.com/y82OnCwG.jpg http://i.imgbox.com/6mEDQ7XA.jpg Here is where it is shiny and super sticky - the same spots left exposed with the visors in place. It gets so sticky that attempting to remove the visors has resulted in tearing holes in them. The rest of the dash is tacky and impossible to clean. http://i.imgbox.com/ReXHGBX0.jpg
  5. I should update, I checked my wife's car the other day and it is in fact getting sticky. The part over the gauge cluster more than the rest at this point.
  6. My car has never sat for a long period of time in the sun without a collapsible shade. I'm a bit nuts about it, all my cars have them. It does sit outside all the time however so it still gets hot. The only shiny part of my dash is the front part near the defrost vents where the shades don't reach. The rest of the dash is still tacky, just not shiny/slimy like the front. My wife's, which never gets a sunshade, doesn't seem to be affected.
  7. Looking for a left side sun visor for my wife's car if anyone has one laying around.
  8. I have 17s. They come with wheels though. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/fs-va-2007-oem-lgt-wheels-197303.html
  9. Did some cleaning in the garage today. I really need more room so help a guy out, will ya? Locals get first crack before I open it up for shipping. Black floor mats - $25 These were new when I bought the car in 2009 and I took them out about 6 months ago. Some wear in the heal spot, but still really good. Lots of the nubs on the back have come off. Legacy Wagon USDM tails - $75 Passenger side is mint but the driver's side has some damage as pictured. All tabs on both are intact. I switched to 2008+ Outback tails which required me to cut the harnesses. They are included but would need to be spliced back together. Or just use the ones you've got and throw these in the trash. OEM rear sway and end links - $25 50,000 miles - Perfect condition. 07+ 17" 6 spoke wheels Wheel only - bent, does not hold air. Good for repair or paperweight. - $20 4 With Potenza RE92s - $200 2 bent wheels. Both hold air and look pretty good but slight vibration above 60mph. I drove on one for over 2 years and it was fine under 60 and over 65. The other 2 are in good shape. All have some pitting around the center cap. Nothing awful. Some minor curb rash on a couple wheels. The RE92s have about 40% tread left. I believe they are the original tires that came with the car. Tread is uniform. And while I'm at it, I'm also selling: 12" sub speaker box - $25 2 new old-school Planet Audio amps - $150 1996-2000 Civic pulley stop tool for changing the timing belt - $20 2006 Scion tC OEM stereo - $30 tow hitch for 04-06 GTO with harness - $50 PM for pic - over my 20 pic limit. If your interested in any of that, let me know.
  10. Mrs. landark decided to do some aggressive dri... impromptu soft-roading and hit a pothole. Luckily the tire is ok so I swapped it out to one of mine that I had swapped recently that is bent but holds air. And it looks like the rear one on the same side is also bent but has a very slow leak. Of course I'm open to offers, and I will consider your offer of $0 and hold out to see if I can't get closer to my asking price.
  11. Looking for 1 or 2 unbent 07-09 LGT wheels in decent condition, don't need to be perfect. I also have 1 bent one if anyone wants to fix it. I'd sell it for $40.
  12. If you were a little closer, I'd grab these from you.
  13. Second in line if BMB doesn't work out. Though I'm sure he will. I just want the front shocks, though I'd take everything if you just want to get rid of it. edit: assuming this hasn't already gone down.
  14. Quoted $325, then offered 15% off so $277. I called SoA to see about getting it covered since the car was Certified when I bought it. I figured, what the hell? Give it a shot. The wording in the book says the following are covered, "...all internal parts, ... constant velocity joints, ... seals and gaskets." Can someone explain to me how CV boots don't act as seals? Waiting to hear the bad news. I think what I'll do is pick up an Autozone reman shaft and a boot kit from Rock Auto. Install the reman and do the boot swap on the OEM. That way, when the reman one fails I'll have one on hand to swap back in. Update: Got a call from the owner of the dealer who told me SoA agreed to cover it as goodwill. So YMMV.
  15. I'd like to trade my wood interior bits for silver. I have a black interior. I would be willing to trade just door panels if preferred.
  16. WTB: Good condition hi-flow catted DP for my 07 5EAT. Preferably within comfy driving distance.
  17. Can I get opinions on what size spacers to use for my wagon with H Techs? I thought I read some posts a while ago, but can't seem to find any tonight. I just bought the Teins and I'm going to head to Mach V soon to pick spacers up. It seems like a lot of sedans use 3/8 so I figure I'd need 1/2 - or am I wrong?
  18. Not mine - If anyone wants black leather wagon seats for a fair price: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/05-09-Subaru-Legacy-GT-Wagon-leather-seats-set-OEM-/200492602872?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories
