the 3rd Gen pic thread...

Fair enough! I just need to start saving up for a setup at all, haha. Here's a picture of the snow we got on Friday night and a picture of my car from my balcony after I took her out for a little bit. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/kretz216/IMG_0513.jpg http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/kretz216/IMG_0515.jpg -

Very nice pics! Makes me want to take some semi-legit iPhone pics next time I go out. Is that just a winter setup? We got some more snow in central Illinois today and I took a couple of my friends out in the snow with me and they were a little impressed. Being able to do circles around a light pole is pretty cool, even for me. Not really worthy pictures though but I took some from my balcony after the fact. Ideally it'll snow tomorrow in the early evening and I can get in a good session and take some decent pics. -

The car is out of the shop a full two days earlier than I thought it would be. I'm going for a very long drive tonight. Edit: Here's my only picture, from mid-December after some fun. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/kretz216/IMG_0494.jpg -

Eh, I'm just getting a new hood and bumper. Unfortunately I don't have the means to buy anything really worthwhile yet seeing as how the car isn't *technically* mine yet. Oh well, I'm good with a new hood and bumper. If only someone would hit my rear bumper.... -

VERY NICE SHOTS! Love it! Also, I got backed into today while my car was parked (I wasn't there). And need a new hood and front bumper. Which is fun because I just got her back from two days of maintenance that cost $800. -

Jealous! At least you only have to wait 6-ish months though, I have to wait 2+ years before I can drop what I want into it. Oh well, high rpm's in 2nd get that back end coming out enough in the snow for now Although, I did pick up some Rain-X wipers the other day and I absolutely love them and I can't believe how excited I was to get them. Then I picked up some Mechanix gloves (finally). -

I got really excited when it finally snowed, it felt wonderful to play around in the snow again. I got a pretty good picture of my car after playtime was over too, I'll have to post it sometime. I just wish she had more power, won't be able to do much to her under the hood or aesthetically until after I graduate college though. *sigh* -

I like those rims (as far style), but I personally HATE black rims on any car. -

I saw one of those back before I could drive and I'm pretty sure that's what led me to love the Legacy so much, haha. -

I'm thinking about trying to pick up either a COBB shift knob or an older 5 spd STi knob. Would I have any fitment issues with those? -

This is mostly how I want to do my interiors. I love it! Looks so nice. Except, Manual > Auto but I'm not going to give you a hard time there. Also, does anyone know a good place to look for a shift knob for my 5-speed? I'm getting tired of the leather one. -

Have you thought about putting the stock Legacy spoiler on? The only part of you car I questioned at all was that same piece. I love the scoop, rims, and rear window spoiler. Absolutely beautiful. I want my car to look like yours some day. -

Bumping! I'm not sure when, probably not until mid-May, but there's an entry street to a business around where I live called "Legacy Cir" and when my friend and I come back from school I'm going to get a nice pic with it. -

Here are some crappy, night time, iPhone pictures. I'll try and get some legit ones at some point. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/kretz216/IMG_0244.jpg http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/kretz216/IMG_0245.jpg http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/kretz216/IMG_0247.jpg http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/kretz216/IMG_0248.jpg -
lowering springs recommendations/suggestions please
-asakura replied to teducci's topic in Suspension/Brakes
Hey everyone, What would you guys suggest for my 2003 Legacy L? I live in the suburbs of Chicago but will also be doing a lot of highway driving too and from Normal for school. I really want to lower my car because I know it'll look so much better that way. Any suggestions? Thanks -

I'll try and get some cell phone picks of my baby. She's stock and boring and dirty, but there's oh so much potential. I'm dreaming of an STi, haha -

That is absolutely beautiful! I love that grill (I need to look into getting myself one), the bumper is perfect and the engine...well, it's a dream come true. ::thumbs up:: -
