  1. Perfect thread, made by our brother, covertrussian https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/crank-pulley-list-price-weight-part-s-221509.html
  2. Of course we may not forget about Perrin lightweight crank pulley https://www.perrin.com/shop/engine/wrx-sti-lightweight-crank-pulley
  3. One more item made in Australia by Go Fast Bits https://gfb.com.au/products/lightweight-pulley-kits/subaru/ Partnumber: 2001 (kit of 2 pulleys - crank and alternator) Diameter: Weight: 1.27 lbs (crank pulley, of course) Material: Aluminum Finish: black (only) Note: underdrive
  4. Not lightweight, but may be one day you will have so many horsepoweres under the hood, that you will need it ATI Super Damper® Harmonic Dampers http://www.atiracing.com/products/dampers/ Partnumber: 917991 Diameter: 5.5" Weight: 5.8 lbs Material: Finish: Note: underdrive

  6. Some interesting thread are now in archieve. https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/fact-fictioni-lightweight-pulley-better-5eat-than-5spdi-67291.html So will try to dig it out. Just found this interesting things made by Neoplot not only for crank shaft, but https://www.plotonline.com/car/neoplot/lineup01.html
  7. SAMCO Sport catalog of Direct Replacement Hose Kits & Clip Kits https://www.samcosport.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/Subaru-updated-GBP.pdf
  8. Thanx for info and your time. This is Samco`s TCS464/ANC/WRX kit consist of 13 hoses. Includes every coolant hose with the exception of the top and bottom radiator hoses, these are sold separately. As i wrote before: Guided by the experience of colleagues, owning similar machines, which they share here on the forum, we can make a +/- reasonable conclusion that the kits intended by the manufacturer for the Subaru WRX in GR body (2008 - 2013 model years) are suitable for our cars (Legacy GT/ Outback XT in B13 body) without any difficulties, problems and nuances. This is expressly confirmed by an experienced and respected SAMCO Sport official dealer Roger Clark Motorsport, who mentioned our car on the list of confirmed applicability.. - https://rogerclarkmotorsport.co.uk/s...e-kit-wrx-2008
  9. Found, Fumoto Valve. But still don't understand why it is better than simple plug with gasket.
  10. Of course, but - theese names were used for right-handed vehicles. For left-handed vehicles the same generation was used name B13.
  11. it is Autobahn88 product I have to repeat my fears - one thing confuses me: the name of the car body for which this kit is intended is BL/BP. Not B13. It would not have turned out that this kit is intended exclusively for right-handed vehicles. I fully admit that part of the tubes should differ in their shape due to the difference in the arrangement of certain elements under the hood.
  12. Just found nice thread here: https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/have-you-had-cracked-oil-pickup-tubei-202175.html
  13. I still can’t understand under what conditions / for what reasons pickup tube breaks. Especially if someone does not use his car at track/drug.
  14. Yes, I was very glad to see that the activation of the issue of silicone compounds occurred not only in my head. This is really good. As for the Autobahn88 company's products - one thing confuses me: the name of the car body for which this kit is intended is BL/BP. Not B13. It would not have turned out that this kit is intended exclusively for right-handed vehicles. I fully admit that part of the tubes should differ in their shape due to the difference in the arrangement of certain elements under the hood.
  15. The ability to copy / clone a finished kit is great. However, it would be nice to end up with a copy no worse in quality than products of SAMCO/VenAir Fingers crossed
  16. My Car (Outback XT 2005 model year, B13 body, USDM) is aging day after day, she is already over 15 years old. Of course, age primarily affects rubber parts - including the connecting elements (tubes, pipes). Regularly one has to change one rubber tube, then another cracked rubber pipe. This is a big waste of time and, of course, money - since the original rubber elements manufactured by FHI are quite expensive. In this regard, it seems to me the most rational integrated approach - replacing all / most of the rubber tubes / pipes / hoses with silicone products. In an attempt to find a comprehensive solution to this problem, unfortunately, I did not see an actual solution in the vastness of our forum. Over the last 7-8 years here, at forum, have been mentioned production kits made by: - SAMCO Sports - VenAir - Autobahn88 - smth made by Free Range Racing There were several forum threads where production kits made by SAMCO were described to one degree or another, but nowhere, in my opinion, were their catalog numbers / part numbers (which in the modern world greatly facilitate the purchase of goods). About SAMCO Number of layers/plies: 3, sometimes they write from 3 to 5, but we will be guided by healthy logic. Catalog of Direct Replacement Hose Kits & Clip Kits: https://www.samcosport.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/Subaru-updated-GBP.pdf Kits and theirs partnumbers: - TCS464/ANC/WRX. Ancillary Coolant kit/set, consist of 13 hoses. Includes every coolant hose with the exception of the top and bottom radiator hoses, these are sold separately. - TCS464/C. Coolant kit/set, consist of 2 hoses. Guided by the experience of colleagues, owning similar machines, which they share here on the forum, we can make a +/- reasonable conclusion that the kits intended by the manufacturer for the Subaru WRX in GR body (2008 - 2013 model years) are suitable for our cars (Legacy GT/ Outback XT in B13 body) without any difficulties, problems and nuances. This is expressly confirmed by an experienced and respected SAMCO Sport official dealer Roger Clark Motorsport, who mentioned our car on the list of confirmed applicability.. - https://rogerclarkmotorsport.co.uk/store/product/114-rcm-samco-coolant-hose-kit-wrx-2008 1) Review on SAMCO Hose Kits for the 08+ WRX on 05-09 Legacy GT/Spec B - https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/samco-silicone-product-review-206858.html This thread is dead, but it seems useful to me, because it will allow us to set catalog numbers according to the result of the fitting. 2) SAMCO group buy https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/samco-hoses-finished-213287.html 3) SAMCO Silicone kit layout https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/silicone-hose-kit-layout-251381.html This forum thread seems to me very informative, it is a pity that it has not received its development. About VenAir Number of layers/plies: no info 1) Venair Ancillary Hose Kit Group Buy https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/venair-ancillary-hose-kit-group-buy-3-options-3-colors-221557.html A company`s representative told that it was a special order; he did not disclose any catalog numbers. The branch is unfortunately not informative. If any of you, friends, can contact the representatives of the manufacturer, I believe many of us will be grateful. Since this problem concerns many, and kits for its solution will be in demand. About Autobahn88 Number of layers/plies: 3 ply construction with 4mm wall thickness or 4 ply construction with 5mm wall thickness http://www.autobahn88.com/index.html About smth made by Free Range Racing Number of layers/plies: no info 1) 05-09 LGT Complete Engine Silicone Hose Kit - 43 Hoses! https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/initial-sale-thread-05-09-lgt-complete-engine-silicone-hose-225429.html This thread will be filled as much as possible with useful information, including catalog numbers. I would be grateful to everyone who has information, experience, links to kits, information about manufacturers not mentioned here.
