  1. ^ same question.. I went on Infamous website and could not find VAG cables for sale. Is this one OK for our car? http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-OBDII-KKL-409-1-USB-OBD2-Diagnostic-VAG-COM-Cable-For-VW-Audi-Seat-Skoda-/271046749139?pt=Motors_Automotive_Tools&hash=item3f1ba52bd3&vxp=mtr
  2. I did see that post actually. I was just under the impression that he actually mechanically adjusted something related to the camshafts in under one hour (e.g. valve clearance, etc...). So I was like "wow, How did they do that?"
  3. +1 for 181.fm You should try installing the free torque app. You can monitor lots of variables from the ECU and check CEL+ clear them if needed.
  4. I am referring to the LGT and OBXT as per USDM specs (EJ255). Switzerland may have been the only country which really sold the LGT for a short time (and maybe a bit Germany) that I know of. Just lived 2 years in Scandinavia and currently in France (driving my OBXT). They have never been sold in most of these euro countries. If there are any OBXTs, they must have been imported from the states. In most of euro land, they just sell the 2.5i, 3.6R, and 2.0D. I know a guy from Finland who just bought an LGT which he got from California, and another dude from Spain who imported the engine from Florida. current models in Switzerland for the OB: http://www.subaru.ch/data/docs/download/1065/fr/Outback-Caracteristiques-techniques-Equipement.pdf current legacy models in Germany: http://www.subaru.de/fileadmin/downloads/modelle/legacy/PreiseDaten/Legacy_2012_10_08FINAL.pdf
  5. ^Curious to know who that is cause there are VERY few LGT/OBXTs in Europa land.
  6. You apparently don't have to: 1. remove the rear differential 2. remove the axle nut and rear drive shaft
  7. You must have a big garage with lots of car parts then if it was that hard to find.
  8. ^yeah that's true. At least though, you'll be able to explain what you fixed if you ever sell your car since you are getting involved in the repairs. Good on ya.
  9. Were you having a small oil leak from the passenger side rocker cover? Lower bolts appear wet (5th picture).
  10. Why are you removing your oil pan? checking oil pickup tube or some other reason? just curious..
  11. Either I missed it somewhere in your thread, but why are you going to install this short block? Are you currently having problems with your engine in your wagon?
