  1. ^I have that one and use it for when I need to replace my CV boots (will probably use it again for the next cracked CV boot ).
  2. I see. I am assuming you can no longer use the camera nor the built mics right?
  3. Having the device slightly tucked in the dashboard, can you tell if the built-in GPS has a harder time locating satellites?
  4. I am not in a hurry, so less pressure for you. I am still on the list though. BarManBean, you're the man.
  5. Utah where I can do this: http://www.anthonysloan.com/moab409/moab409IMG_0185.jpg Not me on pic.
  6. Cool. Do you think you'd have some kits done by the 30th of Nov? I'll be 'home' for thanksgiving . I could then save some on shipping.
  7. I see. I am interested in getting the nexus 7 + Navigon for a dedicated GPS navigation app. But it appears that it is not compatible with this device . Currently using an 'old' Garminfone A50. It has everything I want and even the Torque app. But it is ssslooooow .
  8. Do you use a dedicated GPS app on your nexus 7 (i.e. with maps stored on the device---no need of wifi or the like)?
  9. Yeah. That's probably what I'll do. It'll save me some future headaches.
  10. Yeah. I am actually tempted to just buy a used tactrix cable 1.3.
  11. Very nice mclarenf3. Thanks for the pics. It looks pretty good. Why do you still have that phone holder? Can't the nexus 7 do it all?
  12. Nice but can't see your set up well enough. Can you post closer pics of where you installed your clock/mpg readout as well as of your Nexus 7? Sorry .
  13. ^ same question.. I went on Infamous website and could not find VAG cables for sale. Is this one OK for our car? http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-OBDII-KKL-409-1-USB-OBD2-Diagnostic-VAG-COM-Cable-For-VW-Audi-Seat-Skoda-/271046749139?pt=Motors_Automotive_Tools&hash=item3f1ba52bd3&vxp=mtr
  14. I did see that post actually. I was just under the impression that he actually mechanically adjusted something related to the camshafts in under one hour (e.g. valve clearance, etc...). So I was like "wow, How did they do that?"
  15. +1 for 181.fm You should try installing the free torque app. You can monitor lots of variables from the ECU and check CEL+ clear them if needed.
  16. I am referring to the LGT and OBXT as per USDM specs (EJ255). Switzerland may have been the only country which really sold the LGT for a short time (and maybe a bit Germany) that I know of. Just lived 2 years in Scandinavia and currently in France (driving my OBXT). They have never been sold in most of these euro countries. If there are any OBXTs, they must have been imported from the states. In most of euro land, they just sell the 2.5i, 3.6R, and 2.0D. I know a guy from Finland who just bought an LGT which he got from California, and another dude from Spain who imported the engine from Florida. current models in Switzerland for the OB: http://www.subaru.ch/data/docs/download/1065/fr/Outback-Caracteristiques-techniques-Equipement.pdf current legacy models in Germany: http://www.subaru.de/fileadmin/downloads/modelle/legacy/PreiseDaten/Legacy_2012_10_08FINAL.pdf
