  1. Not going to lie, if he ever sells his car I might want to buy some parts off it LOL.
  2. Lol it's still around and kicking, garage queen is right because its hard to drive anything else with my occupation being a project manager in a construction setting, which means I have to drive a van full of tools or material around every day. I do drive the LGT as much as I can though, but that usually means it only gets to be driven around on the weekend. On that note though.... what on earth happened to Brainchild Customs?
  3. Most likely a 997 911 Turbo or GT3, but I won't be selling the LGT.
  4. There are 2008 WRX KW V1's for sale here in Toronto (Toronto Subaru Club).
  5. 911 997 Turbo or 911 991.2 Carrera GTS Keep the Legacy as the practical car. Buy an older outback for a workhorse vehicle. Well... thats my dream garage at least lol.
  6. Full TBE here, (Invidia) living in Toronto. Did a third gear pull in -20c (-4 Degrees Fahrenheit to you yanks) weather before, tune is limited to 16.5 psi, I regularly hit 18.5 psi in the winter time... even I have been wondering if its worth the trouble to get an EWG. So far my car seems to be fine though, DAM at 1 all the time and the only knock I get is on partial throttle high rpm (-1.4 to -2.8 feedback knock with -2.8 being very very rare) (no knock at WOT)
  7. TBH, the separation doesnt happen on the mount itself, it usually separates at the trim since its a low surface energy substrate. Funny enough, 3M LSE VHB Tape didnt even work too well for me...

I have tried lots and lots and lots of different double sided tape variants and so far this is the most successful one. It's been on there for almost 8 months now lol.
  9. 40 cold, never gave a rats ass about the minor loss in grip since 245mm is plenty of grip for normal driving (heck even spirited, not like im going to the track with 19's anyway lol). 40 cold helps a lot with rolling resistance and fuel economy too...
  10. Not mushy when you inflate to 40psi haha, thats where I keep my psi all year round.

  12. Just finished my install, this was my parts list to help other people out. 13. OK, been planning for a Brembo upgrade, I have been trying to compile a parts list... Please tell me if I am on the right track. 2008+ F/R STI Brembo Calipers 2008+ F/R Dual Drilled Rotor Package with Stoptech Pads https://www.knsbrakes.com/c/car-series/762_2005+Subaru+Impreza+WRX+STI/239_KNS+4K+Rotors+and+Stoptech+Street+Peformance+Brake+Pads Do I have to make sure to ask for the 190mm rear parking brake rotor? Am I on the right track here?
  14. Not sure how to quantify this, but theres a lot of room for adjustment, there are 7 settings for rebound and 7 settings for compression, setting the car with max (stiff) rebound and compression for the rear made the car feel like it had a swaybar when I didn't have one installed and at max setting, it made the car undriveable when ice racing (kept bouncing around) I can say that the variation between minimum rebound and compression and maximum rebound and compression is quite dramatic,
  15. Yes RCE Tarmac II's ,8k/7k Linear Spring rates here (Swift Springs) , they are not that harsh compared to most coilovers (and even some other vehicles stock). It is more compliant and more comfortable than a stock Genesis Coupe, on city streets it definitely reminds you that you are on coilovers, but nothing too harsh, all of the passengers I have had in my car have never complained it was too harsh of a ride. On the highway, you won't notice much of it at all. Some of my Subie friends have commented that my car was easily one of the most compliant coilover equipped car they have rode in. The only time it was way too harsh to ride in, was when I took this thing ice racing on a frozen lake, but that is to be expected. And the car handles very well, with a touch of understeer on the track, probably because I didn't have my RSB back then.
