This time last year I was hearing spring time. Just want an honest answer. Is it even being worked on? What is the actual progress on it? Not trying to be a bother, was just really excited for this years ago. My future upgrades have been on hold for a long time.

It's killing me having the tiny stock turbo, any progress on the 08/09 valve body?? I desperately want to do more work to this car but want to keep the tranny safe.

08/09 silver spec.b, rear spoiler and cbe, 95N from Mystic to RI.

Actually just cleaned it a few weeks ago . Gunk engine degreaser and CD2 detailer, took maybe 20mins. But seriously, thanks again for the idea, for what my current plans are, you've saved me a substantial amount of money for an intercooler. Tried getting an aftermarket one used, but that's another story. . . .

Thanks for the idea and plans, can rest easy now at stg2 boost levels. Engine cover fits perfect, no cutting or prying whatsoever.

Went stage 2, think I can hear my tranny wincing in pain. Where are you 09 hexmods valve body ?

Silver 05-07? Warwick rt117, quad tip exhaust. Sounded good.

I know it doesn't actually shift. But when the indicator jumps to 2, and the tranny is still in 1, if you pull the paddle to upshift, the car then jumps to 3rd immediately

Second question is one of the bigger complaints I have with out cars. If you kee an eye on the gear indicator and rome when going wot 1st gear in manual mode, the indicator jumps to 2 at a MUCH lower rpm then redline. I'm talking just under 5k sometimes. Drives me nuts. Not ideal but I usually just let it shift itself out of first. 09 valve body + the manual mode shift interface being tighter, I wouldnt be jealous of an MT.

Black GT, 05/06? Gold wheels, quad tip exhaust. Saw you in Apponaug RI turning onto 117 at around 6.

If switching to amsoil ATF, is it ok to do a regular flush with 4qts amsoil then drive a bit and do a second flush. Will the amsoil be ok mixing with the few qts of oem subaru ATF remaining in the transmission?

Had it for a little over a year. Over the past month I picked up a set of wheels, 35% tint, Bosal V1.5 CBE, and a Cobb Stage 1 tune. Hopefully Stage 2 dp and intercooler by the end of the summer.

Same here. I'm out of warranty in a few months. . . . hoping it's done by then. Seeing the praise the 05-07 VB is getting, I don't mind waiting a little bit knowing that when it's out it will be done right.

Sorry to come in late to the party and its a little tough to catch up on 200 pages of info between this thread and the 5eat thread. Have had my GT for almost a year exactly and I'm getting ready to think about what to put some money in to. To try and get caught up, ClimberD has put together a shift kit for the 05-07 5eat trannys for now and is working on a kit for the 08-09 cars? If there is one thing I'd like to take care of in my car first its the damn granny upshifts with this transmission. Thanks for bearing with me

I have the SI drive in my car. With the accessport, would I be able to retain the fuel efficient "intelligent" mode and apply the cobb maps to the "sport sharp" mode? Didn't know if the accessport maps overwrite the ECU and you loose the SI drive functionality.

Anyone who's interested in this project that currently has cloth, they're not spec-b, but I have a set of black leather seats out of an 08' gt. Fronts and rear, rear seat has the center swivel bracket included.

What % tint is that? Looks great. Made the mistake of going too light on my last car. Going to try and get it right this time.

Thanks, I've been waiting for an UEL header to come out. Once that comes around I'll be grabbing the exhaust as well. Either the SPT or bosal catback. Like the sound of both of them.

Are there kits to install a set of heated mirrors with blinkers on a car that originally came with just the power adjust mirrors (2.5i SE)?
