WRX seats sit higher. I am 6'3 and it took a few days to get used to. Going from the stock L seats to the WRX seats was a big improvement.
So it will take a day to get used to. You will feel really tall. But it pays off in the end.

I have such a hard time taking the Solstice seriously.
It's an odd looking car. That's for sure.

335,843.... runs great. i weekly take it out to the back roads and plow though snow filled trails and 6 foot snow piles at the end of the trails. i loss my bumper awhile back and ran it over. still summer i may do the 50dollar paint job. it looks. if done right it comes out good, even after 3 years.
I have no bumper since my Ex G/F (who pays for gas and stuff) rear ended someone. Still running strong at 170k. I feel I need to do some routine maintenance now though.

I will see what I can do. Electrical is nothing I really know about and something I need to learn.

Hoping I can get this all figured out. What is the point of grounding from the neg bat terminal to the strut towers?
-
So I am supposed to run all these grounds to the negative battery terminal?
What parts need to be grounded in the engine bay?
-
To be truthful, I used gold crimpon connectors (with shrink-tube covering) and about 30' of 8 ga wire and made my own. Cost difference, making all five sets myself, versus buying five sets, was substantial.
I have seen this and seems like a cheap DIY.
I just have not a clue on what to to ground where to where and what not. Any one with directions on this?
I was about to buy a kit with directions. Then saw this.

Cosmoracing.com has cold air intakes for our cars. you might have fitment issues from what i heard on this board though.
I would go with SRI. Idk if CAI would be better for our 2.2 N/A engines.

I bout my car a year ago with 219K now it has 249K
Yeah bought the car @ 143k 1 year 1 month ago. Now has 164k. Seems to be a love thing.
-
Just broke 162k I put a lot of miles on this car. Damn do I drive it a lot but hell it stills runs amazingly.
-
Hit 157,800 today. I drive this car a lot. As just a couple months ago it was 3k miles less. Although it has developed that really annoying ticking noise from something.

Used the Hi Power with max beam spread.
There is a little fading between but not that bad. Over all the intensity is pretty even. Everybody who seen it love them.
I decided on the hi power because i was not entirely satisfied with the HVAC cluster with the standard, mat go back and upgrade some of them.
Now i just need to finish everything else. Redid the dome light with a 4LED hi power, now just need to do everything else. It's hard to stop once you get going. As a side note, at least for me, the Blue is much nicer at night than the green, guages are much sharper looking and easier to read. Also did all the indicator lights with red or amber as needed. DO NOT use LED for the low fuel guage, it just stays on all the time, voltage never gets low enough for it to be off.
What size bulb for the dome light? I am going to order one of the 5bulb LED's for the AT shifter to see if it fits/how bright it is. I didn't know that we had a choice in the hi powered bulbs for the angle.
I also should ask if you sanded down the back of your gauges? This is what my cluster looks like. Really bight in the center then faded. And the dome light you guys are talking about is when you open the door and it's the light that lights up?

At long last a pic of the Dash with the Blue LED's
Did you use the High Powered bulbs? I used the normal ones and they fade and then brighten up in the middle-ish of the cluster then fade back out again.
