Remove the thermostat and lower radiator hose. Pump water through the radiator fill cap. Usually how I have done it.

Have to agree with JAC on this. Buddys racelands feel pretty nice. They feel just like my Fortune auto 500's. Difference is I have valve adjustment.
So far so good.

I've whooped wholesale ass for a lot less.

Im not the one calling someone a "dip shit" so I think its YOU that needs to chill out.
Besides, I couldnt care less if you have respect for me or not. I get called names and get stuff thrown on my uniform by people like you who dont respect me but you know what? I do my job regardless, because I know some people actually understand what it takes to serve and not just protest everything and ask for hand outs. So the next time you want to try and bash me, my service, my devotion to serving this country and coming to your rescue should you need me, DONT. I dont need some punk kid telling me hes better than me on the internet cause he is the elite subaru know it all.
No. What pisses me off is putting out false info.
-
Excuse me? No. Excuse you. For putting out false information. I backed my case up. And you came back at me. I can respect others and I have. However I am not going to respect you. As far as I can see from your previous posts you're quite the dick. Don't pull the respect card.
Check back a page and read. Like you should have before.
Clearly I respect others. I don't want them buying the wrong product for their car. Had I not corrected this. Someone would've been pointing fingers at you.
And saying the WRX are different. What did you mean by that? You just now told me you didn't say "they wouldn't fit, just they are different"
-
I corrected you once without being a dick. Yet you kept insisting I was wrong. So I gave you facts. Not my fault you're a dip shit.
I tried to correct it but you kept correcting me. Could've done your own research and left it at that. So this was the outcome. Don't go bashing me. I only corrected your mistake.
You're in the service yet you have manners like that? I have no respect for you.
The 02-07 RS chassis is still a GD chassis. All I am doing here is making sure things don't get crossed. But if you're going to bash me like that. Because I FIXED your mistake. I was showing evidence.

No, get the impreza ones for 98-01 RS
the WRX ones are different.
Heh. Okay. Just bought a set of racelands for my buddys 95 Legacy. 02-07 WRX Ultimos from raceland. They installed just fine for me last night.
My fortune Auto 500's on my 96 are 02-07 WRX coil overs.
First gen Legacys use the 93-01 Impreza top hat setup (Installed on my brothers SS.) How do I know? I work on all these cars.
Top hat bolt spacing for the Impreza rears are not correct for the BD/BG. Extremely curious as to where you can buy the 98-01 Impreza coils? Raceland lists them as 93-01 (as I am used to).
So which ones did you buy? Cause there are not 98-01 Specific.
Also what you are saying is that WRX rear top hats off 02-07 Stock struts/Springs won't work? Ha.
Sticky from another forum.
1995-99 (Includes BD = Sedan (Includes SUS) | BK = Wagon (low roof) | BG = Wagon Outback (raised roof)
/////////Front/////Rear
GC 93-01 yes///////no <-- Requires BD/K/G or GD rear top hat and matching perch
GD 02-07 yes///////yes <-- Rotate front top hat
BE 00-04 yes///////no <-- front = direct bolt in

Just make sure you get tge wrx ones. Not the impreza ones.
-
Rallitek once again quit making sways for the rear.
-
WAit what? I have 02-07 WRX specific on my 96 sedan. The rears fit just fine. I am confused.
What makes you say the WRX ones won't fit in the rear?
Fortune Auto 500 coilovers.
Impreza rear top hats don't fit on 2nd gens. Heh.

Slave cylinder took a shit

Got the 93 running today. Even at 230k the 5 speed shifts just fine (with Extra-S of course!)
So far happy with the power

This is why my girlfriend understands if shit goes sour. CALL me. Do not pretend like you have a clue what you are doing.
Women cost way too much money.

Sent out the heads to have new valve guides and seals installed. Along with a resurface. As soon as that comes back I will get the heads put on and be replacing all the hoses. Then exhaust.
This is on a 93 Silver SS by the way.

I run ate super blue

Since you're not heating up the brakes THAT much. I doubt you will notice that fluid.
-
Yeah. But keep in mind I also didn't run a cheap pad. I have SS brake lines. And good calipers. Decent rotors as well.
Pad has alot to do with pedal feel. So do the SS brake lines. All around I run a good brake setup for the car.
-
Haha. Was just reading the older posts. Yeah the brace was a pain for me. However on my girlfriends 1st gen. It was extremely simple. Nothing was in the way. Weird I know.
Still to this day it's working great.
-
Sounds good. Decent fitment? Anyone know?
I looked at the weapon R systems but those are SRI's. And that's all they make from what I can tell.
-
So. Pretty much it looks like the only true CAI that is out there is the cosmo racing one, right?
I am looking at buying one with a EL header here very soon. Then megasquirt and a tune on E85. So the MAF will be rescaled for the CAI.

201k on the body now.
How many miles are on your 2nd gen Legacy?
