  1. If this gauge could be switched on/off, have numerical wideband read out in the center, and then the boost gauge LED with reference marks along the border, it would absolutely be the perfect sleeper set up...just make sure its not too bright at night. Some LED gauges are as bright(or brighter) as the cluster is on full...too bright imo...

    kudos for good work here, keep it up.

  2. and i send the money where? i'm definitely in the market for something like this. guages on the steering column is too crowded for that space, the cubby pod is reserved for my future navi setup, and i'm scared to play with the a-pillar due to airbag housing. keep us posted man

    If the air bag is the only thing holding you back from an a-pillar housing, dont hesitate. You wont have any issues with it.

  3. no and no. it just ends your muffler a little earlier. The only effect on economy is if you are constantly revving your engine to hear it. and rev you will. especially next to ricers at the stoplights.

    :lol::lol::lol:

    I find that hysterically ironic. "you will rev, especially next to ricers at the stoplights"

    You just unbolted your exhaust to make it louder with absolutely no performance gains at all what-so-ever....who's the ricer? :lol: at least the fart can on the honda made a few hp :lol:

    You guys kill me :lol:

  4. thats awesome...hey guys what about a full catback exhaust?? We can call it the Lowes Brothers Power Twin Exhaust system. Get like, 3.5" PVC pipe to replace the mid pipe, and then at the downpipe junction, get a PVC reducer. get some sort of insulation so it doesnt melt up there, then use a T-junction for the ypipe and run like 2.5" pvc out the back of the car. You could duct tape it to the exhaust hangers and paint it black or grey. It would be cheap, and probably sound AWESOME....
  5. Unless I am mistaken the exhaust gasses have to "leak" out somewhere or the engine will not run. - Some choose to use an expensive less restrictive muffler, and some choose to have some of the exhaust gases exit before reaching the stock muffler thus creating less restriction. And finally there are some who just leave everything the way it is and let the exhaust "leak" out the stock tailpipe. - each to his or her own, but ya gotta think outside the box sometimes.

    :lol:

    This thread is full of absolute win. Keep it coming guys! edit- someone try this with the downpipe/turbo junction...make a hogzawst DP....

  6. ^ you should get a custom tune now. Then you'll see even better numbers. :)

    Forgot to check this thread. Yeah they commented that the car seemed strong. Ive got a full TBE and Ividia EL header waiting, and Suby Shop is taking care of me for a bunch of other stuff. waiting to get my header and my down pipe sent to Grimm for coating, and hopefully itsme's IC kit will be dont soon, as well as seeing what BNR has up their sleeve. Epic will be supplying a boost solenoid and a fuel pump.

    I didnt want to waste time bolting on this bolting on that tuning this tuning that, so the plan is go to right to a 3+ all at once and get a tune and be ready to roll. Dyno's will follow immediately :)

  7. yeah bils are hd. I dont have any pics. If you want to keep close to stock look I would go with eibach or Rallitek. they seem to have the least drop.

    Im not sure which shocks the eibachs were measured on, im guessing LGT though. Ive looked at getting Tein's but had more than one distributor I was prepared to order through steer me away because of quality.
