  1. Heh... I'm on Bennett Rd. between Valley Parkway and Edgerton.

    Small world.

    :)

i knew where you lived, lol, i would see your car in your driveway everyday on my way home from work when i worked in brunswick.

and the LERSOC meet, i dont own a subie anymore:mad:. but i do own a turbo car:redface:

  2. wow this thread goes from nothing to busy in no time! :ohhh:

one bad bg: that sucks, i hope they pay you well. i do not work in broadview, my car has the factory spec.b 18"s but i do run black bbs wheels in the winter. currently i work near beachwood but not for long :) i live in on the border of independence and seven hills though so my car is around that area a decent amount.

wow youre closer than i thought. i live about 4 houses away from the corner of broadview and royalwood. and yes they do pay somewhat well, 15/hr which is struggling if you live on your own but i live with my gf's parents on the other side of their house(house had an addition put on for mother in law suite about 15 yrs ago) so my gf and i kinda have our own place, we just dont have to pay rent or utilities:). plus we have a 4 car garage thats 2 cars deep and a workshop attached to the back of it, so i dont plan on moving out anytime soon haha.

  3.

i also plan on painting my calipers at some point, lol i hope it cools down soon

i have to comment on this lol. just to vent. im not talking down on you or making an attack, i just think its kinda funny. i wish i could complain it was too hot to do brakes. when i spotted that milf in mayfield village, i was on my way to work, i work for a commercial painting company(mostly the inside of warehouses). today and the next 2 days we're on top of the roof of the raquet club there (for whoever knows the area or the building) painting half the roof. which just half of it is over the size of a football field. on the roof, that we're painting white btw so it just bounces the heat back on us, with the heat index up there and standing on dirty white paint that were painting over, its 107*. we were on the roof for about 5 hrs today, gonna be 6-7 tomorrow, thank god friday were just hanging siding around the back of the building but well still be in the sun, just not on the roof.

on another note for berkshire. is that your car in your avatar. if so, do you work in broadview hts? theres a white LGT with unknown aftermarket rims that is always parked in a business parking lot right off 82 kinda near 77. ive posted a spotted of it on this thread before but with no response.

  5. hey allan, what time do you guys usually leave cause i have police academy till 10pm at the metro campus. so thats right on my way home.

musictokillyourselfby, very nice bike. i saw you gasing up at shell. the wagon with the tint, lowered, rims, and a trailer with a kickass bike on it. i almost wet myself:redface::wub:

  6. Well damn, I guess that reply did not go thru. I posted(so I thought) that I could swing by one night and we can compare. I have a slight hi pitch 2 10 vac. If I am near a fence or another car, the sound hits it and comes back inside the car. Can't get a video of it.

i figured it out, it was a slight boost leak at the coupler so the coupler was vibrating on the turbo outlet just enough to make a noise.

  7. nope that didnt work. i used the red stuff, the blue stuff, and the liquid stuff, all a huge fail. im considering tightening up the bolts as tight as i can get them, and then throw some jb weld on them. but then i will never get the turbo apart to rebuilt it if need be, or upgrade the turbine. so thats why i figured just pick up a good condition used garret. turbo swap will take a few hours, then in my down time i can get my stock turbo fixed the proper way and keep it around as a spare.
  8. haha no, nothing like the bmw, and theres no shaft play or screeching either, its hard to explain but basically theres bolts broken off that hold the compressor housing on, so he left the broken bolt in and just put another bolt in and threaded it as far as it would go. and even with locktight, i cant get the bolt to stay in for more than a few days. and this is with 3 bolts. so when the bolt falls out, its like having a major exhaust leak. im not looking to spend more than 150. cause for 150 i can get a rebuilt xr turbo. but i would rather have a newer garret, even though the turbos in xr's are garret. lol. i could get the broken bolts out myself but that would require me to have my car down for a few days and i dont have another vehicle to get back an forth to the police academy.
  9. off topic real quick but you ^ reminded me of it with that comment. i was at a saturday night ricer meet in fl some years ago, and there was this kid there with a 80's mustang that i had seen driving around before but never talked to the kid (this mustang ran low 11's at the track) so the car was all primer except for the hatch, back bumper, and some of the very back of the quater panel. and those parts were painted with all these cool graphics(not ricer stuff, like actually well thought out and some BA airbrush work). but every time i saw the car i always wondered why he painted just the back of it, and the rest primer. so when he parked i walked up to him to ask and here was his response, "cause thats all anyone see's when they race me"
  10. 77n. just past pleasant vally today. around 5pm. 05+ OBXT either black or dark blue. hard to tell it was kinda dirty(wash that shiz) stock(looked stock at least) went wizzin by me in the construction 50mph zone (slow down, im gonna be a cop soon lol) white guy, 30's maybe 40's. i was in the rusted out gold 240sx. rust gets hidden by the gold factory paint (thank god, cause theres a lot of rust)....any takers?
