I just helped install one. Easy stuff. I am impressed with the attention to detail on the coding (I have developed electronic devices before). Nicely built too.

With some heat and patience its not hard to do the grill with vinyl, I did mine. But as mentioned, flat black paint would work too. If you have left-over vinyl I would just re-do the grill.

 

Does water bead up on this stuff? Do you ever have to treat or finish it? How do you wash it? How do you deal with tar and sap?

FWIW I get about 300 knock events in 150 minutes of driving. All low load, low RPM. This is looking at the knock sum increment.

 

Car seems to run fine - not sure why all this knock. Infamous tuned.

I'm in the process of buying an '05 Subaru legacy GT with the intentions of upgrading the car with the S402 parts, will everything be compatible on this car?

 

I don't think the front fenders are.

 

Are your wallet's deep? Do a search, someone on here did a conversion but now I think they are living in the car!
