Small world indeed. I'm right up at W130th and Sprague.

I just painted mine black with the G2 kit from TireRack a couple of months ago. Two pieces of advice: do it on a cool day so the paint doesn't harden too quick and use a wire wheel in a drill or die grinder to clean up the calipers. I didn't remove the calipers completely, but did pull the pads out.

merc6, I'm guessing it's me you're talking about. I had the '09 Diamond Grey Metallic 2.5i with gunmetal Enkei EKM3's. I actually live over in the SW suburbs, but often visit that area since my girlfriend lives right around the corner from Legacy Village.
