This is what they need to let people know, because people will check now and say oh my car isn't on there, yay! Then a month or two from now they end up being part of the recall

This is because Takata still hasn't specified the root of the issue to the US safety regulators. They are currently being fined $14k per day after doing a "document dump" to hinder the investigation

So what are you doing to get around the smog shop "seeing" the deleted codes and tune? I'll have to smog for the first time when i pay my registration next year.

I don't do anything and I haven't failed an inspection yet.

Here in PA we have emissions test where they hook it up to the computer and run it. Will this still pass that test for inspection/emissions. The reason I ask is because you are deleting all those codes.

Depends on what year your car is, I forget what year and below they do but they don't hook up mine

Did this on my car last weekend, it started running really lean. Went back in to make sure everything was reinstalled properly, now it revs then shuts off, any ideas?

Yup 5eat and GT appear to be having a breakup. Though the 5eat can do some really cool stuff (like shift for you) it does have downsides like consuming more power than MT.
