  1. haha, im on day hill everyday around 7:45 am and 5pm. but mine is black, and a 2.5i. twice this week, there was a red 2.5i with bertera plate frames behind me for my 30 mile commute, took the same exit, and took about 90% of the same portion of day hill as i do. must live near me.

Where do you live around here? I am in this area all the time, we should have a mini north CT meet and greet. Anybody on the CTsubie forums or NES?

  2. when you start in first put the revs up to like 5500 and dump the clutch. It really keeps slipping to a min.

Sounds like you are getting it. When i was learning i would go to an empty parking lot and play with the clutch. Try to get the car rolling without using the gas, you get a feel for the point that the clutch engages. Then once you find that point the whole idea is to minimize the time you are in between that point and when the pedal is full depressed. I hope that made sense.

  3. QSM Sedan going under the route 9 bridge from weston to wellesley today around 615 pm. Was in a daze so i didn't notice you until i was under the bridge and heard your exhaust looked in the mirror saw what looked like after market (Rally Armor?) Mud Flaps.

I was in the red accord wagon going opposite way to cliff street to get onto Route 9.

Brian at (Worcester area) 508-735-7900 is awesome.

In fact I was thinking about calling him and asking about group dent removal. We could set a mini meet for this, I could offer my driveway for that (would fit 10 cars)

I have a friend that i would force to come! He needs it, 08 Legacy 2.5i, has one dent that kills the look of his car.

  5. I am still running the stock USDM GT Spec. B Struts. The USDM Spec B struts are actually the exact same struts as the JDM GT Rev. C struts so they matched the JDM GT Pinks I got perfectly. Same fit as would be on a JDM GT.

I am running 235/40/18 on the Prodrives with no problems rubbing at all.

I think i might have to steal your set-up, if that's ok. Looks amazing .

  6. Finished installing the new STi Pinks on my '08 this morning. Just snapped a few pictures after getting back from testing out the new setup.

I have to say that the improvement to handling is outstanding. This is the way the car should have been out of the factory. It did drop the height which is much welcomed so that now the car doesn't look or ride with an wheel gap that looks like it is from an outback.

I have to totally recommend making the switch to Pinks over stockers. Would never go back. The part numbers I used are listed in a few posts back if anyone is interested.

Are you still running the stock struts? or did you switch to JDM's? Also with the Prodrive's what tires do you have on them? Any rubbing?
