Looks like I may have a change of plans as well. A friend of mine got a job and she is leaving Sunday. I may go to her party instead, once a time frame is confirmed.

Work permitting, I should be there, albeit a little late. Roppongi Sho works at the McLean office and there is a reason why he is looking to get out of there as well. As soon as the job reqs get released at my company, I am going to try and pull him on board.

I hope she is there more for experience then getting out, than staying with Booz. There is a reason why that company is a revolving door, unless you are a level 3 or higher. I wouldn't bother with it, Fulton. I been reading some crazy stuff about Grimmspeed's AOS causing sludge on short drives or really cold days, clogging up the system around the baffle area, etc. Get the Crawford AOS v2. It works and it's proven. Let Josh get the Grimmspeed AOS. :lol:

You could delete the cel or get the TGV deletes and retune. The only problem you will face is bad morning cold starts during winter. Your car will idle rough for a good 30 seconds, but then once warmed up, it will be purring like a kitten. And you won't screw anything up with an under tuned engine for the turbo. You'll more rather extend its life that way since you won't be hammering it. But on the other hand, you won't enjoy the full benefits of the turbo and get a ticket in the process. That's the only downside I can think of, to tell you the truth.

Well you should be fine without a tune. Your turbo will just be under utilized. I don't think it will throw a CEL either. BTW, next Friday I will be in with the STI... or not. The car arrived today.

Are you planning on getting a tune with the 16G or just remain as is?

That's usually the last sound you will hear (usually for a short while) before the turbo goes boom. Did you check the play in the turbine before installing it? Did you try turning the turbine via drill and listen for any squeaks? If all was done, and there was minimal play in the shaft of the turbine, then it is good on that part. But if it squeaks, bearings might be bad.

How about the Chipotle? Or Hinode?

Yay!!! Where is the oil leak coming from? As far as the meets, no clue. Hopefully Hollowrift can chime in. I am getting hooked on his meets. Way too awesome of a time, straight car talk (mainly Subaru and racing), and of course hat tips to the older and newer Japanese brands as well. It's pretty awesome! The people are genuinely nice too and extremely friendly.

Nada as always. Dealership has till the end of the month. If they don't respond or so much as give an update, the deals off. I thought about it long and hard when we spoke at DFH. I decided to take the words and put em to use. So let's see if the dealership delivers. If not, I don't see how I am gonna lose in all this. I still keep my money, they got another car to sell off their lot. Though I did look at that new Impreza concept. The renderings looked great! The car in the flesh at the LA Auto Show looked like a 2010-2011 LGT... except shrunk and more hybrid-ish. So yeah, just waiting and saving money.

Hey Hollow, any word on another meet? It was great meeting some more people there!! It was a blast as always. Hopefully Eduardo can come again so I can check out his STI instead of just hearing about it.

Oh yeah dude. I think the NAUSIAC crew of the yesterdays are gone (well there are still some there, but they are few and far between). The forums have changed a ton too. Much nicer people, very personable and friendly. Much like a lot of the people on this forum. Thankfully Hollowrift will be keeping us in mind on their next meet. By the way, is anyone going to the Andrewtech AutoX event on Sunday? Roppongi Sho and I will be going tomorrow and arrive at noon. Should be damn awesome! The event will be held at the Harry Grove Stadium in Frederick. Try to get there as early as you can. It is expected to be really great!

It doesn't matter who reported you, Josh. I think we know better than to bother listening to you. It takes away the fun of what you will think of next! But I will say that you do go over the wall sometimes. Worse yet, sometimes what you do is not funny because it is over played. May have to try something new.
