  1. The problem is we don't have a Lift. And I would NEVER get underneath a car if it was on jack stands. There have been too many cases of jacks losing their locking position and people getting crushed underneath their car on the stands. The ramps will be fine. They are very stable. Solid and perfect. Using 4 would be nice and much easier, especially getting underneath the upper half of the car to unbolt the mid from the downpipe. I would like to use a lift, but Lady Tsunami's contact at his school is not getting back to him. My dad's shop is all used up. If it were up to me, I'd play it safe and take it to a shop like Meineke or a gast station. Much more quicker and lifts are there. The only downside is paying for this shit. I know for the shocks, I am doing that myself. NTB, Mr. Tire, Discount Tire, etc. charge way too much to install shocks. I do this stuff on my own and it is very easy to do. The only problem is you still need to get an alignment check after you are done. Better to pay for an alignment than to have the install and alignment done and get raped like a NAMBLA pervert on a 4 yr old boy.
  2. On the Border 1) Luv 2) HarryN (if Taipei Tokyo doesn't work out) 3) 4) 5) Taip-E-i Tokyo 1) HarryN 2) 3) 4) 5) Updated list. Tusnami, pick up some ramps from Advanced Auto Parts. Rippongi only has two. We'll need 4. That incline is too sharp for me to reach the bolts on the downpipe to midpipe. The ramps only cost $12. So you can use that $300 to buy some ramps! On Saturday, I will have my shocks installed. Unless, someone has some JDM Pinks they are selling. I really want those springs. They are TEH SEX!!! Also, anyone know if DPS tuning sells springs, wheels, shock inserts, short shift kits, sway bars, torsion bars, etc? I think Ken, Josh, and Mr Luv have me convinced about avoiding Mach V Motorsports if they are all about the money.
  3. I still want those pipes from TJWILKE (Troy from Bel air, MD). I spoke to my pops, his lifts are not free. Not for a while. I guess if your buddy has ramps ($20 bucks from Advanced Auto), we can work something out. I feel safer underneath a car on ramps, than underneath a car on jack stands. You can ask Rippongi Sho (Rahman) about that. We must have gyrated our cars a few times while getting the cans off, which may have knocked them off jack stands. The cars were secure on ramps. They are only $20 bucks. Can't go wrong with that! Plus much safer!
  4. Alright. I should have some new piping installed, as well as Bilstein shocks on my car by the time we meet again. I am going up to PA to pick up the shocks. They are practically BRAND NEW! http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/zz76/HarryN/bil_all.jpg http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/zz76/HarryN/bil_front.jpg http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/zz76/HarryN/bil_rear.jpg Buying them for $775. Top Hats included.
  5. I would be down for On The Border. It is right by where I work. But it might be a drive for Ken, Tsunami, Mr. Luv, and others who live in the Gburg/Germantown area.
  6. Hey Josh, Next week on Friday. Taipei Tokyo. Ken will be up for it, as will I. Dunno about Rahman, Luv, Woodstock, or Tsunami. But that place is close to everyone since it is right off 355 (Rockville Pike). Make it so! *Pelvic Thrust*
  7. Yeah, Rippongi Sho (Rahman) wants some HIDs. But I will put down $50 he frogs out. Tsunami, what's the word on your pipes brah? I wanna come buy them from you and slap em on my car. Also, anyone got pics of their HID kits? I may actually do the same thing myself. No clue yet. I wanna see some pictures so I know how big them ballasts are and where you can put em on your car, CLEANLY. Not ghetto'ed up with zip ties, crazy glue, and duct tape.
  8. Yeah it was great seeing people last night, especially Woodstock. I would like to suggest Taipei Tokyo for our next meet. It is AWESOME! It is not only sushi. It is primarily a American Chinese restaurant. Damn good food, great service. If not there, Ziki's! Mainly because Keefe knows the staff there!
  9. Tyson's Buffet in Rockville. No clue what time we're meeting up at tonight. I am assuming 8:00 or 8:30?
  10. Sorry Town, Ken is the greatest billiards player I ever seen. And I must say a great coach for billiards as well. So yes, he IS the lord of the pool table. He can both teach and play. Most people can only play. He taught me a ton, and I was actually making balls in the pockets! And setting up for shots!
  11. Keefe!! NOOOO!! You gotta come! I got a few questions I wanted to axe you, brah! Ahh well, next time. Ken, I would love to go another round of billiards. I had a BLAST last time and it was a ton of fun. You truly are the lord of the table. But if you will be with your daughter, it is no biggie. I will tease her about Michaela a bit. She still thinks I don't know her cousin. As far as Tyson's BooF-eh, yes they are CASH only, unless you want to get charged another $5.50 if you are paying below $15. Taipei Tokyo is not only Sushi. It is a Chinese restaurant with very excellent food. Look at Ken's link for the restaurant. I have been there a ton of times and love their food a lot. And next time, I want to recommend a Hibachi grill over at Rio, called Ziki's Japanese Steakhouse. They have VERY good food there. The taste there is orgasmic. The service sucks and the chefs are not Japanese (don't bother trying some Japanese with them). But man is the food AWESOME!!! So when is we all meeting? This Friday? Or next Friday?
  12. So Taipei Tokyo off Rockville Pike is the new venue? When are we meeting? This Friday?
  13. I'll have to second Ken. Taipei Tokyo is a VERY nice restaurant and LOTS of parking as well. Fridays parking still sucks donkey scrotum sacks.
  14. I'd like to suggest Hinode for some SUSHI!! It is right in Rockville. Nothing like a Japanese restaurant to remember where our cars are from (well at least the parts are from).
  15. Hey Josh, I wouldn't mind going there again. It is a great place with great food. Ken says that the owner of Tyson's Buffet also owns PF Changs in White Flint Mall, and Panda Express. Rahman, I'll try and shoot a call your way. I got a pretty busy afternoon today. I'll call yah tonight after Gung Fu, if youz stillz availablez.
  16. Yeah Josh, you missed out BIG TIME!! Same with Rippongi Sho for playing driver. Major thanks to Ken for showing me the ways of Billiards. I wish we had more times as I was starting to get the hang of properly shooting and setting up shots. Maybe next time. Great meeting you Tsunami (I didn't catch your real name) and HanGmaN. I thought the rack looked pretty nice. I am not a big fan of the new body style, but as far as the interior, looks very comfortable. I propose that our next meet be at Rock Bottom in Bethesda. Their food quality suddenly gained a point or two. The drinks there suck (BYOB - Bring Your Own Beer), but food is great and the pool tables were recently fitted with new felt (LOOKIN AT YOU KEN!!!). That or we can all meet at Orange Billiards of Rockville Pike.
  17. Hard Times has really crappy parking, let alone a tiny lot as it is with how crowded it gets on Friday nights. Great place! Crappy Parking.
  18. Hey, you ain't no stinkin pig yet buddy! You can't tell me what to do!! I'll see what I can do.
  19. Dunno if I can make it. Is it next week or this week?? I have driving school on Saturday morning, due to court order. Ken knows the story. I guess I won't tell a judge his judgment is bullshit in court anymore. Yes, I said the entire word. I'll explain the story. Surprised I wasn't held contempt of court.
  20. I CHOOSE YOU, KEN JAN!! *throws pokeball* BTW, your sister told me you killed her cow on her farm. Way to go man, way to go! LOL!! Plus I heard it is your daughter's birthday this Saturday. Michaela told me about it. Tell her happy birthday for me and that she should come by and do gung fu!!
  21. Awesome! Next Friday is pay day, so I can definitely make it.
  22. It has plenty of parking, great food, Crazy Ken's favorite place, plus very little attention too (as in, rice bowl racers). It is also near the beltway, 355, and Randolph Road. Prime location to say the least.
  23. Man, parking is a bitch at that place, especially on a Friday night. Plus parking is very tight as well. Why not at Tyson's Buffet like we mentioned last time?
