I'm going to have to find some stainless screws. I noticed yesterday that they're rusting already.
I'll do that too, thanks, brah.
-
My lip is still in the unopened box in the garage.
-
Oh, that's hot!, like the screen name too, I'm a RX-7 fan and former owner as well.
-
Good luck?
GRRRRACIAS, muchacho
I have them too! Only problem I've had is my driver side coming loose and popping when i turn:confused:Tc Davis
popping out of where?

Megan, no hating allowed...ok hating allowed.

I got a text from my parts dealer....My coilovers are in.
-
Great, I might just order those today before the wife notices that I have money.
-
So what you're saying is that they're wife approved? I also have two kids, I just want my car lowered and a little stiffer for every day use, then softer for long drives with the family.
-
I've heard that they're the same as D2 and ISC. Those coilovers ride fairly well for a family car/hard parker. Do the Megans ride smooth?
-
Anyone with Megan coilovers?
-
this thread is going to be epic, good job, OP.

Hey guys, just posting on area threads trying to get people to come to Lafayette for the Subaru Challenge this weekend.

I don't see why you would "need" spec b front springs when you could just use lgt springs, I know the part numbers are different but that must be because of the heavier tranny. The rear you "should" use wagon specific springs. Don't forget to get a Legacy specific bump stop because the the outback one is too tall.
-
That's why I'm over the EJ25. You spend $5000 to make it powerful, $3000 more so it can handle it, then it rewards you by breaking. If you get it running right, you can have 400whp but it's a pain to drive on the street. 500whp and you are close to buying a second car. Or start a biggybank fund for a GM 3800 v6 all iron engine, which CAN handle big powa, inexpensively.
It saddens me to read this but damn….. it’s true.

LGT 5eat car year? 07
IPT VB mod already performed? No
Are you willing to pay close to but less than IPT prices (perhaps again) for a proper shift kit modification performed by fellow 5eat performance enthusiast ClimberD himself? Maybe
I'm interested, I haven't done the research to see if there's difference in the Outback and Legacy trans though, this would be for my OBKXT.
-
Left work the other day to find this bad boy next to my car.
-
My 07 up shifts and down shifts for me, does that help?
-
LOL, Alex should should check the sticker on his quarter window, I bet it'll be the first time he sees the "Team built in Indiana" sticker.
Anyway, I've been following this thread for a while now, even the other thread where the engine got a different turbo, I must say, Frank, you're doing great work, keep it up, this is motivating.
-
Isn't the transmission different from 05 to 06 then 07 through 09? I got a 07 Outback XT that up shifts.
-
-
Got a picture? I just talked to one of my friends that is running 215/40/17 on his outback and he says that it's about 5mph off on his speedometer.
-
So I'm going to get rid of my 05 LGT and keep my 07 OBK XT. I think I'm going to run 225/45/17 with 17x8 wheels on it (I know, they're not spec). I'm also going to try to put either h-techs or swift springs on it. Do you guys think this will bring it down to Legacy wagon height or lower?
-
This is awesome, now I'm really thinking of getting rid of my GT and keeping my XT, I wonder if my H-Techs would go well with this set up. Great job, duffman.
