It sounds fairly decent on a 2.5i but it drones a bit on highways, but thats why the radio can be turned up

I want my high beam indicators on my dash so disconnecting the blue/black wire only and replugging the harness back in is supposed to allow this to happen. Need to know how to get the damn wire out though . . .

I used it the other day and it worked fine

If by plastic tab you mean the thing that runs the length of the harness, I already did this. Opening this clip allows the wires to be taken out, once you know how to take them out! To take them out, you need to use a small flathead screwdriver. Push the wire towards the end of the harness, insert screwdriver to depress small locking mechanism and slide wire out. But I don't know exactly where to press with the screwdriver and neither seem to be working at the moment!!!

i have been driving around with my whole drl box disconnected, the only thing that doesnt seem to work are the high-beam indicators

No it didnt have gold wheels they were stock, but i did see a car that looked just like his on monday crossing 202
