I am trying to do the mesh mod on the bottom of the bumper, but can't figure out how to get the grill off to reach down there... Anyone know how to get the grill off so I don't have to take the bumper off?

Taking the bumper off really is the easiest way, once you know how it should take less then 5 minutes to remove.

and mine is wrapped I have vinyl on the wings and electrical tape on the surround but im looking for more vinyl to replace that, or another grille.

i gotta give you some credit for that diy mod you did. considering I bought one from someone on the board (which caused a big scene so he will remain nameless), and the entire inside of the emblem bubbled up and became all crusty. I ended up putting my stock ones back on, but I may end up giving your method a try.

 

question. you have any of that vinyl stuff left? i dont think I have met you yet in person nor seen your car.

Yeah I do have some left but Im fixing the emblems up a bit because they were not sealed enough and when I powerwashed the car to get all the salt off a little water got in there I should have enough to do another set but I would have to check.

It definately looks alot better!

Btw, how did you mod your Subaru emblems? I read it somewhere but I forgot where it was posted.

Got tired of the full tint on my taillights so I took a box cutter to the laminx leaving the turn/reverse area on the light. I think it looks much better.

I'm a ABP sedan. Defining outside features: lowered, eyelids, debadged except for 2.5GT, custom front grill with GT lettering. In sthe summer I run 17x8 hypersilver Rota Torques on Falken Azenis RT615's.

 

The wagon looked stock but I didn't get a good look.

Saw a ABP wagon on 202N in Raritan, NJ at 8:15am.

What car are you? I think I have spotted you on 202 once before...and I think I may have seen that Wagon before, is it stock?
